Job Summary
• The role is responsible for managing pan China overall CMPS business, including FX and Structured products and sales advisory team.
• The role requires to have practical experience in sales, sales management / planning in banking industry; sound knowledge of banking products and services and banking procedures, FX market & products, and other personal investment services and strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to deal with all levels of stakeholders in complicated situations.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy
• Drive profitable growth through leadership of the team with a clearer and more strategic oversight on SD space and SME FX hedging.
• Expand more segment and industries to explore business opportunities.
• Build a more professional and efficient sales team to provide higher-end service to the clients
• With reference to the overall Wealth Solutions China Strategy, develop full range of CMPS products within country regulatory framework.
• Collaborate with key Country, Regional and Group office stakeholders in Wealth Solutions, WRB, Technology and Operations to bring the best values to our customers
• Strategize, plan and execute the long term strategic CMPS plans and tactical plans to take advantage of the business opportunities within the footprint of WRB
Business
• Manage and deliver financial objectives. This will include constant monitoring of financial performance and metrics to stay on track.
• Spearhead our digital initiatives including Wealth FX and digital Structured Deposits.
• Cover FX and Structured Product strategy, Retail customer value proposition, go to market strategy, new product introduction, systems and processes.
Processes
• Ensure all CMPS products have the necessary CAs, Product Approval and DOI.
• Adherence to laws and regulations, internal risk and compliance policies (including anti-money laundry, sanction, anti-bribery & corruption and relevant FCC risks) and the Group Code of Conduct
• Monitor and manage the systematic and non-systematic risk of the product portfolios
People & Talent
• Well trained and certified team to perform CMPS product management, dealing and sales activities
• Team to display exemplary conduct and live by the bank’s Values and Code of Conduct.
Risk Management
• Accountable for implementing and complying with AML requirements when performing duties.
• Comply with the respective Money Laundering Prevention Procedures and be alert at all times to unusual or possibly suspicious customer activity and should report any suspicious activity to AML Surveillance Team and line manager as well as directly to the Country MLPO in urgent or exceptional circumstances.
• Mitigation of risks and resolution of issues in a timely manner including developing suitable controls and measuring their effectiveness.
• Proactive identification and reporting of risks and concerns.
Governance
• Adherence to laws and regulations, internal risk and compliance policies (including anti-money laundry, sanction, anti-bribery & corruption and relevant FCC risks) and the Group Code of Conduct.
• Timely completion of all mandatory risk and compliance training, including e-learning by the set deadlines.
• Fully understand the importance of consumer rights protection, prevent damage to consumer’s best interest, implement regulatory requirements related to consumer rights protection, ensure to complete relevant trainings and to always embed consumer rights protection mindset when performing daily work.
• Fully understand the importance of fraud prevention, prevent fraud risks, maintain safe and steady operation of the position, implement regulatory requirements of fraud prevention, strictly execute DOIs of the department, ensure to complete relevant trainings and embed fraud prevention in daily work
