Job Summary
The Head of Performance, Reward, and Benefits (PRB), Europe, Americas, Middle East & Africa plays a critical role in shaping and delivering performance, reward, and benefits strategies across a number of key geographical hubs. Working closely with senior business leaders and HR stakeholders, this role ensures that reward and performance frameworks align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and Standard Chartered’s valued behaviours and is pivotal in driving a consistent and ambitious agenda across multiple regions. This role supports the development of a high-performance culture by providing expert advice, governance, and the effective implementation of PRB programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted adviser on performance, reward, and benefits (PRB) matters to Country Management Teams and their direct teams.
- Build strong relationships with Country HR Heads and Management Teams to lead the reward agenda.
- Participate in the development and review of PRB products, leading communications and implementation across the Americas, Europe, Middle East, and Africa markets.
- Oversee the development of fair pay and wellbeing strategies and targeted interventions.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of reward policies, programs, and processes.
- Provide reward-related advice for merger and acquisition activities.
- Identify challenges and opportunities, forming agile teams to resolve issues.
Skills and Experience
- Experience in performance, reward and benefits in the UK and US; exposure to Africa and the UAE preferred.
- Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and reward practices in regulated environments.
- Strong expertise in performance management, reward, and benefits design and implementation.
- Proven ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels within complex, multinational environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities across business and HR functions.
- Proven people leadership and team management experience.
Qualifications
- Professional or relevant postgraduate management qualification.
- Relevant experience in PRB or HR at both operational and strategic levels.
- Strong team management, leadership, and interpersonal skills with experience influencing senior-level stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, including clear oral, written, and presentation abilities.
