Job Description: 

Job Summary

•    Lead and accelerate process transformation across CIB, WRB and Functions by deploying Process Excellence capabilities to improve client outcomes, operational effectiveness, efficiency, and risk & control.
•    Partner with senior stakeholders to identify, prioritise and deliver enterprise-wide transformation opportunities aligned to the Bank's ambition to standardise, simplify and digitise.
•    Build and scale Process Excellence capabilities, embedding a culture of continuous improvement and delivering measurable business outcomes

Key Responsibilities

•    Lead the delivery of enterprise-wide process transformation by leveraging Process Excellence capabilities to drive efficiency, effectiveness, client and colleague experience, and sustainable business value.
•    Define and execute process transformation roadmaps with Business and Function leaders.
•    Lead the deployment of Process Excellence capabilities including Process Universe, Process Reviews, Process Mining and Delivery services.
•    Drive process redesign, optimisation, automation and simplification opportunities across strategic initiatives.
•    Influence senior stakeholders to align on transformation priorities, desired outcomes and delivery plans.
•    Manage programme governance, risks, dependencies, resources, budgets and delivery performance.
•    Build team capability, develop talent and foster a culture of accountability, innovation and continuous improvement.
•    Ensure adherence to governance, methodologies and project delivery standards while delivering measurable benefits.

Our Ideal Candidate

Key Experiences    
•    Minimum 15 years in the project / programme / portfolio management space, supporting or delivering mid-large size, complex initiatives across CIB, WRB and Functions
•    Domain knowledge applied and gained through significant transformation initiatives across CIB, WRB and Functions key processes, resulting in significant benefits streamlining processes
•    Knowledge of the Bank, in terms of key processes, stakeholder groups
•    Strategic thinking, ability to identify opportunities and translate this into roadmap and actionable plan
•    Knowledge of SCB ways of working
•    Knowledge of Process Excellence methodologies (lean, six sigma, zero base design) and proven execution track record
•    Strong influencing and communication skills – oral, written and presentation. Proven success in communicating technical information in a simple way.
•    A can-do attitude committed to doing what it takes to deliver. Diligent and detail orientated
•    Growth mindset. Appetite, ambition and ability to experiment and learn quickly
•    Excellent stakeholder management, presentation and communication skills. Establishes effective working relationships across the organisation – from senior management to individual teams
