Job Summary
The role holder will:
- Be a HR leader and strategic partner to the SCB AG Management Board and overall SCB AG business (including the branches in France, Sweden and the Poland AG).
- Formulate and deliver a future focused and ambitious HR People strategy to achieve AG business performance whilst creating an effective, efficient, and inclusive organisation where maximising performance and engagement is at the heart of every interaction.
- Partnering with relevant SCB AG Management Board members, business heads, senior managers, functional partners, HR Centres Of Excellence (HR COEs) and stakeholders, will drive and enable sustainable business performance.
- Manage people processes, ensuring levels of capabilities and performance are aligned with current and future business requirements.
- Lead the strategic people agenda leveraging the full range of HR COEs and other areas, and ensure that HR policies and procedures are legally compliant and aligned with the SCB AG strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead HR strategy for SCB AG in partnership with the SCB AG Management Board and business stakeholders.
- Accountable for leading and achieving all people parameters for SCB AG through co-creating the People Strategy/Plan with the SCB AG Management Board and other key leadership stakeholders.
- Connecting, collaborating, and leveraging relevant HR COE teams to achieve key People Strategy/Plan deliverables.
- Effectively partner with, challenge and influence business leaders to deliver the right outcomes on people-related decisions, focusing on key People Strategy/Plan agenda items such as shaping and enabling a client centric and adaptable organisation and developing and deploying the right talent (skills and capabilities) and building the brand to attract and retain talent.
- Building a future ready workforce enabled by digital skills, organisational adaptability, and outstanding leadership.
- Create and develop an efficient, effective organisation through business partnering where maximising performance, capability build, and engagement is central to achieve business strategy as well as mitigate people-related risks.
- Ensure high performance and consistent delivery of the relevant People Strategy/Plan across businesses through building effective working relationships with business stakeholders and relevant HR CoEs.
- Manage people processes to ensure levels of capabilities and performance satisfy current and future requirements of the business.
- Deliver appropriate and relevant HR advice to business, ensuring that this is aligned to the overarching business strategy, governance processes and risk appetite.
- Continuously review the relevant operating models to align these with the overall business strategy and organisation design principles, using all available data to assess effectiveness, demonstrating proactively in surfacing, and securing resolution to points of misalignment.
Qualifications
- Degree educated in a related subject area.
- FCIPD qualification or Post Graduate qualification in Human Resources desirable.
- Considerable experience as a HR practitioner dealing with the full breadth of personnel matters, operationally and strategically.
- Prior proficiency in leading and motivating an HR function and team.
- Evidence of ability to operate effectively and efficiently in a continually developing and changing workplace context and capable of motivating others to embrace change.
- Experience of managing in a multi-site context would be extremely beneficial.
- Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels and building and managing relationships.
- Ability to negotiate, persuade and influence at both organisational and individual level.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
