JOB SUMMARY

The job holder has overall accountability for International Priority banking in HCM and HN, key responsibilities include:
•    To promote and professionally sell the full range of consumer banking and financial service products to existing and potential Priority customers.
•    Meeting the business sales growth plan by achieving team target on all financial products - asset and liabilities
•    To implement the sales management effectively

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy

Maximise sales performance through
•    Use of effective sales plan with GM, Affluent Banking
•    Regular monitoring of sales
•    Communications and evaluation of sales achievement
•    Manage team member to meet assigned target
•    Coach and supervise team member

Business

•    Ensure accurate and timely delivery of client journeys, scripts and offers with appropriate infrastructure in place
•    Work with stakeholders to ensure achievement of Segment-wise acquiring targets. Conduct root cause analysis and debottleneck issues, as required 
•    Liaise with Country Segment on finalising Priority client relationships
•    To deliver Priority client relationships standard operating model and capacity framework, including client coverage and account assignment rules in a team-based way of working, client contact and service standards, roll out engagement standards incl. Operating rhythm between RM’s & specialists.
•    To generate and grow the portfolio of Priority Banking customers in number and quantum by providing solution-based initiatives to meet their needs.
•    Identify and prioritize activities to maximize revenue contribution from the high potential customers.

•    Develop, implementing and execution of sales plans for the RMs.
•    Coaching RMs to increase sales productivity and cross-selling.
•    Tracking RMs’ productivity and performance
•    Referral of prospective business to other SCB functional units.
•    Enhancement of the Bank’s image via community activities.
•    Regular monitoring of sales performance and communicating of results achieved.

Processes

•    Work with segments to achieve deepening targets (volumes). 
•    Standardize required framework of MIS tracking with Retail Analytics. 
•    Work closely with Finance, Segment, Product and Performance Management Teams to define overall performance standards and KPIs.
•    Front end design and development of reward framework and scorecards
•    Define sales processes and standards for sales quality metrics  
•    Work collaboratively with Analytics to get “next best conversation”

People & Talent
•    Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations from their team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners.
•    Ensure the provision of ongoing training and development of people and ensure that holders of all critical functions are suitably skilled and qualified for their roles ensuring that they have effective supervision in place to mitigate any risks.
•    Employ, engage and retain high quality people, with succession planning for critical roles.
•    Responsibility to review team structure/capacity plans.
•    Set and monitor job descriptions and objectives for direct reports and provide feedback and rewards in line with their performance against those responsibilities and objectives.

Risk Management

•    Provide input to governance and operational risk to define measures and controls for prevention of mis-selling, misrepresentation, fraud and for adherence to Treating Clients Fairly principles
•    Robust implementation of eCDD, review and migration

Governance

•    Responsible for assessing the effectiveness of the Group's arrangements to deliver effective governance, oversight and controls in the business and, if necessary, oversee changes in these areas.
•    Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.
