Job Summary
The primary responsibility of the role is to:
• Lead the management of intragroup limits on behalf of FI (Financial Institutions), including leading the ILA (Intra-Group Limit Application) Central Team and ensuring governance and supervision of intragroup limits across FI.
• The individual would be the single point of contact for intragroup limits related activity for FI, engaging closely with FI RMs and 2nd LOD Treasury Risk, overseeing an offshore BCA team and representing FI in relevant committees and forums
• The individual is also expected to provide training, where relevant, to the FI RM community and ensure all relevant guidance documents and related standards are up to date.
• In addition to the above, and as the workplan evolves, the individual would be afforded opportunities to:
• Help drive, execute, and support on cross FI strategic initiatives, working closely with colleagues responsible for the BBD/CorrB/Affiliates, Fintech/NPM/Crypto, as well as other FI segments
• The role requires the ability to demonstrate leadership, own and lead on activities as well as support through change and ambiguity - necessitating courage to influence positive outcomes across the workplan.
• There will be a dynamic book of work, as risks and opportunities present, and strategic aims are established/changed.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy
• Execute on relevant FI objectives, initiatives, and projects, where such opportunities cut across the verticals and geographies for FI.
Business
• Support on establishment of measures to demonstrate the success (or otherwise) of the Risk Advisory team, and how the team contribute to an EVA+ outcome.
Processes
• Support and help Create a culture of habitual innovation within the team, embracing the Bank’s new ways of working “nWOW”.
• Help to drive operational efficiency and process improvement through identification and elimination of unnecessary procedures, and driving further automation where appropriate.
People & Talent
• Demonstrate leading through example and building an appropriate culture/values.
• Support through ambiguity to establish the role/team in bringing together the specialist verticals and cross-geography teams in FI, in adoption of a collective book of work.
• Work closely with colleagues and stakeholders to enhance the quality of deliverables. Support team members to ensure on time completion of deliverables.
• Lead by example to ensure adherence to the Group’s processes and policies, training programs
Risk Management
• Support regarding regulatory, reputational, and ethical matters. Provide proactive advice to clients as identified.
• Avoid duplication with CC COO, assess any necessary measures to improve risk management framework appreciation (and potentially the frameworks themselves) in PSDO, Investors and SIG.
• Work closely with stakeholders to conform to required global standards and improve risk and control metrics.
Governance
• Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.

Our Ideal Candidate
• Bachelor’s degree required with advance education preferred
• 6+ years Banking experience in Credit Risk, Treasury Risk or Liquidity Risk
• Understanding of intragroup limit management and understanding of Bank risk systems is favourable
• Familiarity with PRA and other country regulatory requirements
• Experience and knowledge of banking products and services in Financial Institutions and Transaction Banking
• Relevant Project and Change Management, Compliance, Business Management, Strategy skills desirable
• Experience of working with various stakeholders
