Job Summary :
Our Credit Analysts have extensive knowledge of our risk assessment and portfolio risk management framework which they use to support our Account Managers with credit reviews, ongoing risk monitoring and client creditworthiness. They also assess Standard Chartered’s risk appetite against market and economic conditions across the different markets and asset classes.
About our Banking and Coverage team
- Our Banking and Coverage team owns and leads the management and development of our Client Relationships globally. They work across our global network with product partners to deliver working capital, financing, trade, cash and market solutions for our clients. The solutions include varied products and services, from sustainable trade finance to credit derivatives, to mergers and acquisitions advisory.
- For more than 170 years we’ve support clients with their transaction banking, financial markets, corporate finance and borrowing needs and provide solutions to nearly 20,000 clients in the world’s fastest-growing economies and most active trade corridors.
Credit Analyst Responsibilities
Strategy
• Actively support in the delivery of CIB Indonesia's Income growth ambition
Business
• Interact with the client, gather deal requirements, financial statements and other inputs for performing quality analysis and due diligence. Work with RM/product partners in structuring credit solutions for the clients and ensuring the appropriateness of the products. Work with the RM, in a) obtaining all pre clearances b) preparing & presenting work-shopping note and c) expediting approvals. Coordinate and prepare for credit meetings. Liaise with GAM Credit for limit approval/allocation
Processes
• Responsible for end-to-end BCA process using tools like CreditLens, CRMX, Raptor, Scorecard, etc and perform in-depth analysis of various risks, make quality presentations and ensure fast credit approval Monitor quality of the portfolio by tracking Excess/past dues, strictly complying with ASTAR, EAR processes. Ensure timely submission of quality Quarterly Credit/ Performance Reports. Review reports from various tools – like Fraud Risk Analytics, Credit Analytics etc. Monitor Risk Triggers, Covenants and other credit conditions and report appropriately. Ensure Zero BCA and CaRT over dues. Liaise with Credit on BCA and other credit issues and ensure quick turnaround on queries. Proper maintenance of Credit files and ensuring Audit ready at any time. Attend EAR/Portfolio calls along with the RMs. In partnership with the relationship manager, ensure timely identification of accounts to be put in EAR as per the bank’s policies and guidelines. Work with RM on account management with stressed asset team. Embed usage of Credit Risk Analytics and Credit Analytics Framework. Ensure portfolio is maintained with high quality – both, from credit risk and hygiene perspective

• Lead by example and set an appropriate tone about required standards of conduct and management of operational effectiveness. Projecting good team spirit by volunteering to assist in BCA preparation for other team members whenever additional help is needed. Become a catalyst for change - review, challenge and improve existing processes and practises to help transform the CCIB organisation to a high performing outfit. Maintain professional interactions with stakeholders and highlight potential conduct and behaviour issues in a fair, open, transparent and timely manner. Ensure all mandatory e-learnings are completed on time
Risk Management & Governance
• Ensure compliance of all internal and regulatory credit/other portfolio related policies e.g. preparing the BCA/ Regulatory checklist, other special reporting requirements.
