Role Overview

As a Team Manager at the Priority Client Centre, based in our Jakarta office, you will lead a dedicated team focused on delivering exceptional service to our most valued clients. This full-time leadership position requires a dynamic and results-driven professional committed to fostering a collaborative environment and driving operational excellence. You will play a critical role in shaping client experiences, building trust, and ensuring service standards align with Standard Chartered's values and strategic goals.

The successful candidate will be accountable for managing team performance, cultivating talent, and navigating complex client needs with agility and insight. This role combines client focus with strategic leadership to both sustain and grow our Priority Client business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire the Priority Client Centre team to consistently deliver exceptional customer service that aligns with our strategic vision and client expectations.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to manage priorities and workloads within the team, ensuring responsiveness and client satisfaction.
  • Manage ambiguity and change proficiently, guiding your team through evolving processes and market conditions while maintaining performance standards.
  • Drive talent development by coaching and mentoring team members, nurturing their skills and career aspirations to build a high-performing team.
  • Collaborate across functions and departments to resolve complex client inquiries and enhance service offerings collectively.
  • Champion the bank’s commitment to compliance, risk management, and ethical conduct, fostering an environment where integrity and client trust are paramount.
  • Regularly review team metrics and reports to inform decision-making and identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
  • Promote an inclusive and positive work culture that values diverse perspectives and encourages open communication.
