Key Responsibilities
• Develop and strengthen client relationships through effective sales, service, and relationship management for affluent priority non-qualified clients with Assets Under Management (AUM) below the Jersey qualifying threshold, or as otherwise defined by the business. This will include managing an appropriate client portfolio, as well as delivering NNM and wealth targets, among other objectives.
• Build new and deepen existing client relationships through proactive sales, superior service, and disciplined relationship management.
• Generate new business opportunities by prospecting for investment, deposit, Member-Get-Member (MGM), and credit leads/referrals through servicing existing clients and other deepening initiatives.
• Provide professional investment advice and assistance on investment solutions, including conducting client risk profiling and recommending suitable financial products and services.
• Deliver holistic financial solutions tailored to portfolio clients’ needs and actively manage their relationships through personalised, high-touch service.
• Offer timely information and support to existing and prospective retail clients via phone, email, and other bank-approved communication channels.
• Drive cross-selling of wealth and banking products to increase wealth penetration within the existing affluent client base.
• Identify and convert opportunities to cross-sell wealth products to non-wealth clients, upgrading them into the affluent priority segment next tier of client continuum.
• Develop and execute a clear relationship strategy to acquire new and deepen existing Priority and International client relationships, aligned to segment objectives.
• Create and implement plans to generate investment AUM, investment cash, MGM and credit leads/referrals from existing clients and deepening initiatives, in partnership with investment and credit specialists.
• Drive client base growth through structured prospecting, including branch, client, cross segment and third party referrals.
• Increase wallet share by proactively identifying and winning business from competitors within the existing client portfolio.
• Plan and support the delivery of profitable growth, with a strong focus on building sustainable Assets Under Management (AUM).
• Ensure the delivery of consistently high-quality service to achieve a market leading client experience.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of:

• banking practices and associated regulatory requirements
• how the global financial and investment markets operate.
Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years sales and client service experience, preferably gained in the banking and financial services industry e.g. bank or investment office, fund manager, private banker etc. and be able to demonstrate a proven sales track record.
• Relationship Management skills for both internal external clients, social skills with people at a variety of levels and degrees of familiarity.
• Sensitive and able to adapt to differing situations/cultures/levels.
• Ability to work under pressure, within tight timeframes and as a team player.
• Good at negotiation skills, problem solving skills and able to deal with complex client instructions via phone, fax, letter, secure message within delegations and limits
