Job Summary
Let's work together to manage and implement an exciting Corporate Plan for Trade products at both the country and regional levels! Our goal is to maximize revenue profitability, market share, and growth, all while partnering closely with our sales teams. Together, we can ensure that our products maintain top-notch quality and keep both the Bank and our clients safe from unnecessary risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the Trade Finance market by analyzing its size, share, structure, potential, customer segmentation, buyer behaviors, market and regulatory influences, and competitor analysis in each country and region concerning the relevant product sets.
- Quantify and present information to country and group management based on this analysis, highlighting the impact and economic consequences of market trends, evolving customer requirements, and competitor offerings for the dual purpose of performance management and strategy development.
- Serve as a knowledge expert on the product sets, including financials, and coordinate the annual budgets and ongoing forecasts. Offer suggestions to enhance profitability and performance, and implement any approved recommendations.
- Collect and assess key statistics to evaluate the current state of the business, identify changes in business drivers, and pinpoint opportunities and threats to the Trade Finance Business.
- Take the lead in identifying and prioritizing product and channel requirements and gaps in the country, making recommendations for new developments, and securing funding where necessary.
- Oversee the local implementation of new products and/or enhancements designed to meet country needs.
- Support the local sales team by joining them on client meetings to identify Trade opportunities and discuss new products and/or channels, including significant enhancements. This involves organizing product training sessions for the sales team and ensuring that products are adequately supported by channels.
- Manage and deliver the Transactional Banking end-to-end product objectives within the country for Trade & Working Capital Product Management, ensuring alignment with global objectives for the product line, including financial and non-financial performance, enhancement of capabilities, product and client access future strategies, and oversight of risk and governance in alignment with the Country Product Head/Head of Trade & Working Capital.
