Job Summary

The Proposals Manager plays an essential role in enhancing the global sales function by effectively managing the complete proposal development process. This position is dedicated to skillfully drafting, compiling, and overseeing high-quality proposals in response to client RFPs, RFIs, and various bid opportunities, while ensuring alignment with organizational standards and strategic objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities

As a Proposals Manager within the Financing & Securities Services (FSS) Global Content and Proposal Management Team, your primary responsibility will be to effectively manage Requests for Proposals (RFPs).

  • You will play a vital role as an individual contributor by drafting, compiling, and project managing RFPs, ensuring that each response meets the highest standards and aligns with best practices.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Client Servicing, Product, and other subject matter expert teams to deliver high-quality responses to RFPs across the Investor and Banks and Broker Dealers segments for all FSS products.
  • Additionally, you will have the opportunity to support the FSS Content Manager with important tasks such as reporting, content analysis, and automation initiatives.
  • Your role will also involve providing similar RFP project and content support for existing client Due Diligence Questionnaires as needed.
  • It will be essential for you to develop a strong understanding of the products and services we offer, as the content you handle will give you a comprehensive view of all operational aspects of our global business.
  • This position will also provide you with valuable insights into the strategy, roadmap, and future direction of the business.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple parties across projects will be crucial in this role.
  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders globally across the business for the Proposals Management Team.
  • Engage with stakeholders across different geographies and time zones to ensure that each deadline is met while upholding the highest quality output.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts across corporate and business functions, both globally and in-country, to produce accurate responses for each client, articulating FSS solutions in a consistent and client-centric manner.
  • Utilize the relevant RFP software (Loopio) and our best practice framework to effectively manage each RFP.
  • Maintain and update proposal statistics, reporting, and analysis.

Skills and Experience

  • University Graduate in Business / Banking / Finance or related degree  
  • Custody / securities services experience is beneficial.
  • Prior experience working on proposals/sales enablement, with RFP software or written content is also beneficial. 
  • Writing and communication experience
  • Ability to drive projects and assured working with other stakeholders across geographical regions
  • Good command of the English language
  • MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
