Job Summary
- Facilitate the growth of Cash and Trade business within Southern Africa by engaging with designated clients.
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, including those new to the bank, at suitable levels within the client's organization.
- Act as a reliable consultant on Cash and Trade matters for corporate and investment banking clients, by providing solutions that meet their needs and showcase the value of the partnership.
- Regularly solicit feedback from clients regarding competitor evaluations, newly launched solutions, service quality, and relay this information to relevant internal teams. Utilize this feedback to enhance client service.
- Initiate business development efforts and secure new cash and trade mandates.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive long-term strategic and tactical client-level strategy for the assigned clients in the region.
- Ensure that the client strategy is integrated into the overall account plan and aligned with the coverage partners.
- Formulate a global calling plan and client stakeholder mapping as integral components of the client strategy.
- Collaborate with the Cash and Trade Sales teams across markets to ensure full alignment with the overall client strategy.
- Establish a digitization agenda within the assigned portfolio that will enhance client loyalty, increase wallet share growth, and strengthen share of mind.
- Engage with Trade Distribution partners as necessary to expand our capacity to meet client requirements effectively.
- Proactively identify Cash/Trade business opportunities, structure and pitch suitable solutions, make impactful presentations, and ensure seamless delivery of client mandates.
- Create a client-level RFP (Request For Proposal) strategy to organize the scope and requirements, along with appropriate calling plans to actively engage various client levels
- Engage collaboratively with implementation, client management, and service teams to guarantee a consistent and exceptional client experience.
- Take full ownership of the global profit and loss for assigned clients, driving new revenue stream by enhancing product and market penetration in conjunction with the coverage team.
- Oversee and expand existing client revenue while managing the costs associated with servicing these clients. Foster growth in Returns on Risk-Weighted Assets (RoRWA) for the assigned clientel
- Strive to meet business and financial objectives, ensuring the delivery of financial key performance indicators (KPIs) at the client level, while aligning these KPIs with the goals of the Cash and Trade Sales teams.
Qualification and Skills
