Job Summary
Conduct telephonic, email, bank statement and physical verifications in line with credit policies, regulatory requirements and internal control standards, while maintaining accurate Management Information System (MIS), documentation and vault/archival records.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct Cross Verifications (Internal / External), where needed (Assigned by Supervisor/Manager).
• Maintaining of daily login sheet with in/out. (on need basis)
• Preparation daily Physical Verification reports. (on need basis)
• Uploading of daily Physical Verification reports.
• MIS is being maintained for inward and outward documents.
• Maintain Management information system (MIS) related to physical customer documents received from hub.
• Ensure that Departmental Operation Instructions (DOIs), Group policies, Compliance & State Bank regulations are followed.
• To manage and ensures that the work performed in accordance with Management Manual, procedure Guides, the agreed customer service standards and operational risk requirements.
• To ensure total compliance with laid down norms in terms of complex risk, Credit policy, documentation, operational risk and other Group/Regulatory control standards.
• To contribute towards superior service delivery and cost control related to operations of the Archival & Vault Management by error free timely processing.
• To design, recommend and implement action plans for continuous process improvements to enhance both processing efficiency and operational controls and save costs.
• To ensure that Archival & Vault Management operations are carried out with the maximum efficiency, security & control and that service is provided to both internal & external customers in accordance with agreed service standards of the Bank.
• Ensure, in co-ordination with the ‘Complaint Management & Service Quality’ units, the delivery of high-quality customer service by an effective process to address customer inquiries and resolve their complaints to minimize client(s) attrition.
• Continuously review procedures, controls and systems & give recommendations & suggestions for improvements in quality, efficiency & turn around time (TAT), system enhancements, optimization of resources & costs savings
• Ensuring changes to system, processes or product offerings are handled in an effective and seamless manner delivering the expected outcomes.
• Ensure that all processes/practices in the Unit comply with the Bank’s risk and compliance procedures to minimize security and risk exposure.
• Formulate improvements in operating procedures to effectively manage risks and create a robust control environment.
• Assist in coordinating, facilitating and promoting understanding of Governance & Control and; in implementation and management of Governance & Control within the Unit.
