Job Summary

This role will be responsible for the development, management, and launch of Corporate and Investment Banking Cash products, ensuring alignment with the Group's strategy and adherence to the Product Lifecycle (PLC) methodology. The Cash Product Manager will build relationships with front and support departments, participate in product management and marketing activities, and identify and mitigate risks in accordance with the Bank’s risk management framework. Additionally, the role requires ensuring the development of processes and procedures that comply with the guidelines, and engaging in process reviews, audits, and regulatory interactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proven track record of cash product management in Pakistan.
  • Manage the development and launch of new products following the Product Lifecycle (PLC) methodology in close liaison with business and support functions such as Legal, Compliance, Operations, Risk, and IT, etc.
  • Build relationships with front and support departments to gain a complete understanding of the systems related to product development.
  • Participate in activities related to product management and marketing with the help of relevant counterparts across Pakistan and the region.
  • Ability to identify risk, evaluate severity, and mitigate risks in accordance with the Bank’s risk management framework.
  • Be commercially driven and have the ability to represent the Bank in front of clients or at industry events.
  • Draft product processes and procedures and understand the systems and processes for a product to ensure a smooth and successful product launch.
  • Maintain market intelligence on different markets where Islamic products are offered.
  • Team player with the ability to take initiative and demonstrate assertiveness.
  • Ability to deal with all levels of people in the project development and launch phase and deliver multiple tasks involved in multiple product development projects.
  • Ensure appropriate development of processes and procedures that adhere to the guidelines.
  • Direct participation in process reviews, audits, and engagement with the regulator on industry matters.
  • Set an appropriate tone and work in collaboration with risk and control partners.
  • Be part of the team seeking and providing ongoing training and development opportunities, ensuring that holders of all critical functions are suitably skilled and qualified for their roles.
  • Responsible for processes related to cash management.
  • Build relationships with business/operation partners to manage operational processes.
  • Support the design and implementation of controls related to the cash management business.
  • Responsible for delivering ‘effective governance’; capability to challenge fellow executives effectively; and willingness to work with any local regulators in an open and cooperative manner.
