Title: Executive Director - Cash Product, Transaction Banking

Job Summary
Responsible to Lead payments, receivables, liquidity market management, account management & client advisory activities towards Industry/ Client specific Cash management solutions for Corporate & Investment Bankning (including Banks) segment for Pakistan. Maintain relationship with the State Bank of Pakistan for on-going conversation and contributor on commercial and regulatory projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Developing Bespoke complex client or Industry solutions by way of innovation, digitization or regulatory engagement in solving client or industry requirements or challenges.
• Client oriented & Go-To trusted advisor in understanding client needs & their challenges. Developing solutions/products around the client needs which will add value to the clients & will leading to mutual benefits.
• Providing leadership in creating inclusive work environment & developing team by create an environment which focus on growth, learning, understanding the client needs and challenges, structuring solutions and innovative mindset to imbibe the rapid transformation in the payments and digital arena.
Within Pakistan, drive the cash product vision and strategy. Articulate the business value of the product suite for our clients and for our stakeholders which will include:
• Provide an end to product lifecycle architecture that maps out the technology and data ecosystem that will be designed along with the process and governance required;
• Include a robustly defined operating plan outlining product release timelines and implementation with coordination of all the activities required to bring the product to the client/market. This will involve collaboration between various teams – namely, risk, legal, compliance, technology as well as managing the dependencies across the various phases of the product development
Lead the consulting and discovery analysis of client needs in Pakistan, both met and unmet, integrating these insights with current and near future market, industry and network intelligence.
Competitive benchmarking & performing Loss/Win analysis to understand and highlight Product gaps on an ongoing basis.
• Deliver new revenue streams with meaningful returns over the long term, through product enhancement and innovation, whilst uplifting current revenue streams through process efficiencies and digitization.
• Develop a product commercialization plan which integrates product positioning with client value propositions all adapted to the industries and markets of our clients.
• Actively mitigate identified business pain points, by evaluating pragmatic solutions that have wide applicability and have potential for replication for the countries/markets
• Commercialization of product capabilities including developing product launch, commercialization plans, targets and ensuring infrastructure requirements are resourced.
• Deliver the product digitization agenda (product, process and platforms) with the Transaction Banking Digital and Data team
• Build product value propositions with digital partners (3rd party platforms, consortiums and alliances) that would bring in value to the clients and mutually beneficial in terms of efficiency.
• Responsible to review the structure/capacity plan based on the nature, scale, or complexity of the business. Manage resource gaps appropriately.
• Build deep and comprehensive knowledge of local regulations and initiatives of local industry bodies to stay ahead of the regulatory change agenda and how it affects the product lifecycle.
• Take the initiative regarding regulatory, reputational and ethical matters by providing proactive advice to sales and implementation teams.
• Ensure adherence with the highest standards of ethics, and compliance with relevant policies, processes and regulations.
• Accountable for all product risks within the product management discipline in country and across the markets
• Defines pricing guidelines and processes for the product.
Experience
Transaction Banking and Corporate & Investment Banking experience preferrable
