Job Summary
This role involves leading the development of long-term Business Banking strategies, conducting market research, and innovating product offerings to drive growth and profitability. The individual will manage balance sheet growth with a balanced risk-reward approach, drive sales initiatives, and lead a team of Relationship Managers to achieve targets. Collaboration with stakeholders and clients is essential to ensure successful execution of strategies and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop medium to long-term Business Banking strategy and support the General Manager in its implementation.
- Identify market trends and target customer needs to review and recommend product/service offerings.
- Periodically review Credit Policy to ensure alignment with Business Banking strategy and risk appetite.
- Achieve balance sheet growth with a balanced risk-reward approach.
- Address key issues and opportunities to enhance business performance.
- Collaborate across business functions to maximize performance for Business Clients.
- Determine customer, business, revenue, and profit targets for the Business Banking segment.
- Launch appropriate marketing campaigns and initiatives to enhance sales efforts.
- Rollout and develop a global suite of standardized products tailored to local needs.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to provide direction on market opportunities and execution.
- Lead the Business Banking Product & Segment team to achieve the Bank’s Conduct Principles.
- Identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct, and compliance matters effectively.
- Ensure effective governance on risks and controls within the team.
- Build and leverage strong alliances and business partner networks to enhance brand propositions and optimize retail balance sheet returns.
- Manage product design and delivery strategy, and develop relevant procedures and processes.
- Oversee management of Business Banking marketing collateral and website.
