Job Description: 

Job Summary

The position is responsible to acquire the prospect customer with a solution-based approach by understanding the customer’s business needs for lending (specifically Home finance) with the aim of enhancing revenue, identifying opportunities and providing value added solutions, therefore achieving long term sustainable growth.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients through the end-to-end mortgage application process, providing expert advice on home finance options and related products.
  • Meet prospective customers in person to gather information for loan applications, perform needs-based analysis, and address queries on processes and requirements.
  • Analyse applicants’ financial status, creditworthiness, and property value to determine the feasibility of granting commercial and residential real estate finance.
  • Evaluate and recommend approval of mortgage facilities in line with bank policies, risk appetite, and regulatory requirements.
  • Explain product options, features, terms, and conditions clearly to customers, with a particular focus on home finance solutions.
  • Achieve business objectives by delivering monthly sales budgets and ensuring quality onboarding of secured asset bookings as per scorecard requirements.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes to tailor solutions to customer needs.
  • Ensure full compliance with Group policies, local laws and regulations, AML/Customer Due Diligence guidelines, and internal controls and procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of conduct, integrity, and professional behaviour with customers and internal stakeholders, and promptly report any irregular or suspicious activities.
  • Ensure all contractual terms and agreements are clearly understood, communicated, and adhered to throughout the customer lifecycle.

 

Skills and Experience

Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
Strong sales acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
In-depth knowledge of home finance products and services
Effective negotiation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Hand-on experience in mortgage lending, home finance, or related financial services
