Job Description: 

Job Summary

This role will be responsible for achieving agreed sales targets by acquiring new customers, deepening relationships with existing Consumer and SME Banking clients, and providing appropriate financial solutions in line with bank policies. The Investment Advisor will ensure strict adherence to account opening, KYC and credit management guidelines, while delivering the highest standards of customer service through close coordination with internal stakeholders and timely monitoring of customer accounts and activities.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Continuously review branch processes, resources, and procedures to meet service standards through effective capacity planning, removal of bottlenecks, and workflow improvements.
  • Drive customer retention by personally handling complaint resolution, obtaining ad hoc feedback, and ensuring issues are closed promptly and satisfactorily.
  • Act as a coordination catalyst between branch units, Cash Management, Asset Sales, and new acquisition teams to provide integrated and seamless solutions to customers.
  • Develop and maintain a robust potential customer database to support new business development activities.
  • Acquire additional SME business in the form of new relationships, liabilities, and assets from the defined target market.
  • Cross-sell SME products to existing and new clients to enhance overall portfolio size and profitability for the Bank.
  • Achieve SME segment business volumes, revenue, and sales targets while implementing local and global standards for the segment.
  • Keep customers informed of new products, services, and promotional campaigns, clearly explaining applicable bank charges, terms, and conditions.
  • Ensure full compliance with Customer Due Diligence, Legal, Compliance, and data confidentiality requirements, including strict adherence to prescribed sales processes.
  • Maintain a low error rate within prescribed thresholds and demonstrate complete, up-to-date knowledge of all assigned products.
