Job Summary
Maintain strong internal controls over financial and regulatory reporting processes while ensuring accuracy and integrity of data sourced from core banking systems and general ledger while preparing timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial submissions and Consolidating financial data across functions and ensure proper reconciliations between system outputs and deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate with stakeholders ensuring smooth reporting processes and compliance with reporting standards.
• Support Business function with financial analysis, variance explanations, and for decision-making.
• Prepare monthly results, management reports, dashboard and Key Performance Indicators for leadership

• Monitor and implement new guidelines and assess their impact on reporting and compliance requirements.
• Liaise with Business finance and other functions on queries, support in reviews, ensuring timely responses and corrective actions where required.

• Develop and maintain reporting policies, procedures, and documentation in line with internal governance and regulatory standards.
• Support internal audit reviews, risk assessments, and compliance testing related to reporting functions.
• Collaborate with Finance, Treasury, Risk, and Business to ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting.
• Provide management with insights on financial reporting impacts to support strategic decisions.
• Partner with business to drive financial performance, optimize resource, monitor profitability, client level performance and support strategic decision making and performance management.
• Support and lead annual budgeting and forecasting
• Track performance and highlight performance gaps
• Partner with business units to analyse financial impacts of business and strategic actions
• Work closely with all Business team to achieve high standard quality of work.
• Analyse Business performance against budget, highlight variances and prepare reasoning.
• Prepare important components of Statutory Budget and prepare the presentation for the statutory budget to be presented to the board
• Effective management of operational risk within the function including ensuring the proper functioning of embedded and periodic controls.
• Timely identification and escalation of risk issues.
• Establish the first line of assurance in the business unit by implementing a programme of Key Control Self Assessments (KCSAs).
• Ensure Open risks have mitigating actions, owners and target dates and monitor progress of the same
