Job Summary
Perform relevant credit fulfilment activities including preparation of Contractual and Security documents discharge of security documents, monitoring of collateral values, monitoring of dated credit and security documents on time and to agreed standards.
Key Responsibilities
• To follow Global Client Management Credit Documentation Department Operation Instructions at all time.
• Generation of relevant reports and requirements to meet audit and regulatory requests, ensuring submissions are made on a timely basis and the integrity of information used for reporting purposes.
• Generates daily, fortnightly, monthly reports as required for Senior Management
• lodgement and withdrawal of Documents in Collateral Management System (CMS)
• To ensure that turn around times (TAT) is created timely manners and BFL/Supporting Documents are sent timely.
• To ensure that the documents lodgement in accordance with Group guidelines.
• To ensure that temporarily / permeant withdrawal should be in accordance with Group guidelines.
• To manage pledge and release of marketable securities and other securities.
• To issue NOC for the security being released.
• To monitor drawing power relates to Shares and other marketable securities.
• To ensure reminders are sent in time for expiring documents as per approval conditions and group guidelines.
• Seek regular feedback from business / senior management and follow through on issues to improve our service / process.
• To ensure satisfactory rating during internal and external audits, no audit failures, all audit findings (if any) must be resolved within the deadlines, ensure no repeat audit issues, all ops risk will be raised in Phoenix with reasonable deadlines after discussion with Line manager, Phoenix issues raised (if any) will be resolved before deadlines.
• No highlighted Risk remains unattended.
• Follow all prescribed and applicable procedures / checklists at all times. Highlight to line manager any risks that do not consider to be adequately covered within existing procedures.
• Ensure risks and issues identified are resolved in an appropriate and timely manner.
• Supports and contribute to a consultative, collaborative, and risk-based approach towards addressing identified risk issues.
• Facilitate a “zero operational loss” and “first time right” culture by servicing as a subject matter expert in areas of responsibility.
• Maintain good working relationships with the various Business Units, Finance, Risk, Technology, and Operations community.
• Undertake ad-hoc duties and when delegated by Line Manager and Country Head of Client Management
• Provide effective orientation /guidance to new Joiners on the bank’s policies/procedures/processes to ensure their successful assimilation into the team and the bank
• Develop and implement a personal learning plan with team manager, to attain necessary competencies.
• Successfully complete milestones as laid out in implemented personal learning plan
• Support the development of a compliance culture, undertake compliance monitoring through the Operational Risk Framework, pro-actively advise management on compliance issues
• Assist in coordinating, facilitating and promoting understanding of operational risk and in implementation and management of Operational Risk within the Unit.
• Ensure all activities are done in line with the laid down Departmental Operating Instructions (DOI) / Roles & Responsibilities and other procedures that are rolled out from time to time. Report any deviation (if any) to appropriate authorities and obtain proper dispensations
• Ensure all internal policies and procedures are implemented with the group policies, local legal and regularity guidelines
