Job Summary

  • Responsible for transaction processing and operational delivery of Operation Nepal cluster to enable front to back, seamless, client focused delivery.
  • Ensure the client experience is seamless based on efficient processing, timely resolution of client exceptions.
  • Clear understanding of operational capacity and headroom for future growth
  • Ensure constant client input to the process to elevate the client experience and engage with the service teams to deliver high quality client interactions with solution that meet client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Processes

  • Accountable for ensuring processing capabilities are geared up to achieve accuracy as per the Service Level standards and strive to exceed the standards.
  • Responsible for adhering to the procedures set in the Operating Manuals in order to achieve optimum efficiency in the conduct of their jobs. Handle exceptions from the norms and initiate corrective and preventive actions
  • Responsible to address all the queries related to routine activities within the time frame pre-specified.

Risk Management

  • Act quickly and decisively when any risk and control weakness become apparent and ensure they are addressed with an appropriate time frame and/or escalated as appropriate.
  • Ensure that material risks that are brought to stakeholders’ attention which affect business processes and critical systems and projects are monitored, managed (to minimise loss and risk), and escalated accordingly.

Regulatory & Business Conduct

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. 
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
  • In partnership with Nepal, OPS TB Cash Operation strive to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles: Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.
