Job Summary
Our Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) International Corporates collaborates with Senior Bankers to support them in generating new business. The ARM provides direct sales support and assists with tasks such as client research, preparing pitch books, and identifying industry leads. This role involves coordinating with various network and product teams. Additionally, you will work with the Global Account Manager to develop and implement the overall Client Account Plan and Strategy. You will ensure that all relevant team members and internal stakeholders are engaged and informed about the approved strategy for each client

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed bespoke client analyses, including competitor analysis, highlighting SCB’s value proposition compared to peers. Prepare relevant reports on post-origination activities and document client meetings.
- Coordinate with Product Sales and the network to assist the Senior Banker with deal return calculations and pricing analysis, including the Capital Allocation process.
- Support new business transactions, including deal execution, negotiating NDAs, coordinating with Product Sales and Client Management on documentation, and managing deal drawdowns. Ensure proper fee booking and revenue recognition in collaboration with Product Sales and the network.
- Proactively manage the portfolio by engaging with clients and product partners to ensure limit utilization and accurate revenue/returns at both the portfolio and client level.
- Support the Senior Banker through ongoing client engagement and closely monitor client performance, gaining a deep understanding of the client's industry, business, performance, and outlook.
- Serve as a secondary point of contact for client relationships, working alongside the Global Account Manager to provide comprehensive services to clients.
- Build personal relationships with clients by establishing contacts at all levels within their organization to ensure seamless and consistent coverage and delivery.
- Ensure compliance monitoring is in place, including processes for management of operational risk, in accordance with the Bank and regulatory standards
Skills and Experience
- A degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus.
- Strong ability to conduct detailed client and competitor analyses.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, including deal return calculations and pricing analysis.
- Strong communication skills to document client meetings and report on post-origination activities
- Experience in managing and building client relationships, ability to engage with clients at various levels.
- Several years of experience in a similar role within the international banking or financial services industry
- Proven track record of supporting senior banking professionals in business origination and client management
