Title: AVP, Lead Engineering Analyst - CRES

Job Summary
The Engineering Analyst is responsible for analysing data related to technology systems, processes, and performance, uncovering insights, identifying opportunities for improvement, and collaborating with teams to implement data-driven solutions and optimizations.
They support and enable delivery teams, including the CPO and PO, to ensure technical specifications, process flows and details required to build the required Feature / Epic / Story are clearly articulated and documented.
They work closely with the teams to ensure these details are clear throughout the lifecycle of development.
The Engineering Analyst should be proficient in at least two or more skills across Programming/ Scripting, Database Development, Testing and Requirements Management
Strategy
• Ensures Technical Specifications required for development are adequately documented within the user stories with oversight and sign off from the Product Owner.
• Contribute to defining future operating models for new capabilities and support technology change activities.
• Engage with CPO (Chief PO), PO, Hive Tech Lead and other relevant stakeholders / SMEs to support technology analysis.
• Conduct thorough analysis of existing underlying systems, processes, configurations and/or services or related data base set ups in the context of the business requirements, dependencies and clearly state out the change impact both upstream and/or downstream.
Key Responsibilities
Business
• Work with the technology leadership and architect to ensure the technical feasibility of the requirements and associated technical workflows, processes are analysed, understood and formalized into requirements in the form of clearly articulated features & user stories.
• Support the business needs into clear and comprehensive requirements / user stories.
• Facilitate communication amongst vendors and all impacted teams to ensure there is common understanding of the project requirements and seek sign off from all stakeholders involved.
• Contribute to the Solution Intent documentation by clearly drafting out the solution design, impact to the current architecture and future state.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend how systems should integrate.
• Responsible for applying technical knowledge to solution and configure the application in alignment with the Acceptance Criteria.
• Assist POs and Lead Engineers with SIT including planning, preparation and test case creation.
• Perform analysis and execute configuration/development (in SaaS context) to deliver the expected outcome of the requirements.
Processes
• Analyse, clarify, question and challenge existing business process contributing to continuous improvement and efficiency within the org by identifying ways to do things more effectively and / or avoid duplicate efforts across the end-to-end flow as part of their analysis.
• Work with the PO where needed to define messaging & ensuring the technical artefacts are up to date including dependency maps in the relevant file formats as required other integration requirements (IRDs) for the application along with integration SMEs.
• Support the SACA (including Responsible AI) review and actively work with SACA & architecture teams for approval.
• Support release and annual governance review activities including ESDLC controls.
• Review and assess processes for improvement opportunities (e.g., simplification or automation).
• Assist in the preparation of User Guides, FAQs, wiki Pages, trainings as necessary for the business users.
• Must possess a good understanding of workflows and relational database concepts and be involved in data lineage and documentation exercise coordinating deliverables end to end from sourcing of core data through calculation and into reporting.
• Might be required to support Vendor Data Management - reviewing the data handling practices from the vendor to ensure they adhere to the data protection regulation and best practices defined by Standard Chartered bank.
Risk Management
• Support POs with risk management across all initiatives planed for product.
• Ensure effective risk management with regards to releases.
Governance
• Contributes to ensuring product backlog readiness and alignment to the Hive's and Squad's DoR (Definition of Ready)
• Comply with all governance activities which are pre-requisite for go live. Provide relevant information and support the squad to seek approvals from Architecture and governance forums.
• Ensure releases adhere to Change Delivery Standards, ITSM and ESDLC.

Our Ideal Candidates Should Have:-
- Minimum 8+ years of professional experience as Engineering Analyst or Data Analyst
- Candidate with good knowledge or work experience working with CRES related technologies such as asset management, safety and security or workplace services are highly desirable.
- Good understanding of Data Model and data management approaches
- Experience of having worked in transformation of underlying technology landscapes in medium sized portfolio.
- Knowledge of project lifecycle and experience in delivering high quality programmes adopting agile methodologies
- Expert knowledge of control processes and methodologies used in a project and BAU environment.
- Ability to broker agreement amongst diverse stakeholders and vendor eco-system.
- Adherence to milestones in a time-sensitive, dynamic environment
- Self-driven personality who assumes full ownership of his or her work and gets the work done across the organization using agile principles.
- Ability to drive progress under uncertainty and frequently changing requirements.
- Fluency in verbal and written communication (English language)
- Able to seamlessly move and translate between detailed functional and technical requirements and non-technical summaries.
- Ability to be strategic at the same time have strong attention to detail.
- Degree (or similar) in Engineering and MBA is preferred
