Job Summary
The ideal candidate must demonstrate a strong enthusiasm for quality and agility, along with substantial experience in software delivery, solution design, and stakeholder management. A comprehensive understanding of Agile delivery methodologies is essential, coupled with a methodical approach to planning, execution, and reporting. Ability to perform manual and automation testing. Below are the required experience and skillset:
• 4 - 8 + year of software testing experience performing manual testing and automation (Cucumber, Selenium or other automation tools)
• Testing experience of Java applications running Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc) and REST API (nice to have) with Oracle database.
• Experience in mobile application testing is required, including testing on iOS and Android platforms.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate across diverse audiences and influence cross functionally.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is required to support project needs, including communication with stakeholders, testing with Mandarin UI application.
• Ability to multi-tasks as well as be strategic, creative and innovative and dynamic, fast paced and complex environment.
• Ability to work independently as well as contributing member of the team.
• Proven ability to complete goals/projects on time delivering high quality results.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Be involved in activities prior to testing to identify issues in requirements, design specifications, application architecture and product documentation.
• Develop test specifications based on various requirement documents within schedule constraints.
• Develop test bed and verify test environments.
• Perform functional and technical test execution activities (automated testing, where applicable) as per project engagement.
• Constant communication and follow up with various stakeholders during test planning and execution phases.
• Log software application defects (in standard defect management tools) and track it to closure.
• Report and update test status promptly and accurately.
• Good understanding and able to apply test processes laid down within testing team, and/or standards as defined by project and SCB.
• Comply with the software quality management practices and policies (defined by SDF/UTM).
• Creates feeling of cohesiveness and positive working environment within the project team
• Builds own credibility within the project team
• Assist the test lead in managing day-to-day testing activities, such as test monitoring and status reporting.
• Participate in project meetings to provide feedback and statistics of the project in relation to the test quality.
• Conduct reviews and inspections of project deliverables.
• Responsive to customer and project needs, as well as support test lead and test manager to managing customer expectations.
• Establish a close working rapport with squad team to understand issues and risks underlying the project.
Business
Awareness of Wealth Lending business for Priority Private and Private Bank in order to better support business users in achieving business objectives.
