Job Summary
The primary responsibility of this role is to serve as the main contact for investigating client-related queries regarding statements. Conduct initial assessments to evaluate issues, determine root causes, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to carry out investigations. When detailed analysis is necessary, engage the appropriate stakeholders to lead thorough investigations and resolutions. Examine recurring issues to identify patterns and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for investigating client-related queries on statements.
- Conduct initial triage to assess issues, determine root causes, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to facilitate investigations. For in-depth analysis, engage appropriate stakeholders to lead detailed investigations and resolutions.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Product, and Technology teams to troubleshoot statement issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Analyze complex issues and convert them into clear, well-documented problem statements that are easy to understand.
- Proactively identify and examine recurring issues to detect common patterns and recommend remediation and preventive measures.
- Oversee statement-related change impacts and operational risks.
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of the Bank’s statement capabilities to better address client needs.
- Assist the Head of Client Statement and Delivery in managing all statement-related issues and ensuring their resolution.
- Work collaboratively across front office, risk, and control partners.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years’ experience in banking operations, ideally within Private Banking, with a strong understanding of Private Banking business models, client segments, and end-to-end operational processes.
- Proven capability to collaborate across business streams, with experience in front-to-back system implementations.
- Skilled in analyzing complex issues and translating them into clear, well-documented problem statements for ease of understanding.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to engage multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work proactively and independently, manage multiple priorities efficiently, and demonstrate strong initiative.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Exhibits personal authority, integrity, and ethical standards.
