Job Description: 

Job Summary

•    Extensive experience in enterprise business analyst, process mapping methods including value stream mapping, process mapping tools for visualisation, etc.
•    Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) including system integration.
•    Experience in product management, product owner responsibilities
•    Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
•    Self-starter capable of identifying opportunities and delivering solutions on their own
•    Strong English communication skills, able to provide concise and relevant status updates to stakeholders, management team and peers
•    Read, understand and interpret relevant regulations and act as the SME for application and development teams onboarding to the cloud
•    Build, manage and maintain relationships with global and regional teams across the bank (including Information Security, Compliance, Risk and Control).
•    Have the knowledge and confidence to apply critical thinking to make the necessary decisions to progress deliverables. At the same time, understand the limits of their responsibility & expertise and know when to solicit decisions from other members of the project (business or technology)
•    Have an awareness of the overall cloud technology and carry out day-to-day work in a manner that achieves those overarching goals
•    Have a detailed understanding of the technology regulatory landscape as pertains to FSIs, with a specific focus on Cloud and third-party risk management 
•    Have a background in Risk & Compliance or Cyber Security 
•    Identify and evaluate risk response options and provide management with information to enable risk response decisions.

Experience:
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT governance, product management, Cloud business analysis or a related role

Key Responsibilities

Governance
•    Read, understand and interpret relevant regulations and act as the SME for application and development teams onboarding to the cloud
•    Weekly status reporting and Executive summary for MT stand-up
•    Build, manage and maintain relationships with global and regional teams across the bank (including COO, Information Security, Compliance, Risk and Control).

Business
•    Have the knowledge and confidence to apply critical thinking to make the necessary decisions to progress the task or project if any.  And at the same time, understand the limits of their responsibility & expertise and know when to solicit decisions from other members of the project (business or technology)

Processes
•    Provide subject matter expert advice, guidance and support on all matters related to Cloud Governance

Reporting
•    Prepare and present regular reports on product management, cloud governance metrics to senior management.

Continuous Improvement
•    Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies, governance frameworks, and best practices to continually enhance cloud governance process or product management.

Stakeholder Collaboration 
•    Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and business units, to ensure alignment and effective cloud governance.

Risk Management
•    Identify and assess risks associated with cloud operations and develop mitigation strategies.
•    Normalize disparate approvals processes to speed up delivery without increasing risk

Regulatory & Business Conduct
•    Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. 
•    Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
•    Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Key stakeholders
•    Application or project team from CIB, WRB, Functions, T&A, ICS
•    Risk Manager for each domain
•    Operational, Technology & Cyber Risk; CISO
•    Technology CIO or their delegates for each domain
•    Process/Control owners

Qualifications

•    Education - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
•    Training - IT Governance, Cloud platforms - AWS/Microsoft
•    Certifications - Certifications in relevant discipline
•    Languages - English, (Mandarin is a plus)

•    Strong influencing and English communication skills – oral, written and presentation.
