Title: Collection Officer

Job Summary
As a Field Collection Officer, the job incumbent plans and execute collection strategies and contribute to the recovery goals, through maximizing productivity and effectiveness of operations via technology and various channels.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and conduct field visits.
• Conduct interviews and assist customers for restructuring requests and applications.
• Conduct calls to improve recovery rates, use settlements, instalment plans and composite payments as planned.
• Assist customers on their queries and ensure propose escalations of customer queries and/or complaints.
• Provide timely update and accurate report in the designated applications via the assigned method.
• Identify and escalate any issues or disputes that cannot be resolved in the field on a timely manner.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to facilitate successful collections.
• Achieve collection targets and contribute to the overall success of the collections team.
• Adhere and comply to policies and standards including but not limited to Local Regulator Guideline, Global Credit Standard, Credit Policy Manual, Collections Procedures and Forbearance standards.
Skills and Experience
• A minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Experience in collections would be of added advantage.
• Excellent communication (both written and spoken English and local languages) and negotiation skills
• Ability to maintain professionalism and being organised at all times.
• Proactive and passionate in achieving targets
• Able to drive and posses own transportation (mileage is claimable in accordance to company policy)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
