Job Summary


We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Design Operations Manager to join the Client Experience, Insights and Development (CXID) team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the seamless operation and alignment of key activities across the CXID team, supporting the design system and broader team & governance initiatives. Your ability to manage logistics, facilitate communication, and provide operational support will enable the team to deliver exceptional outcomes at scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Design System Lead to operationalize governance frameworks, ensuring design system activities align with the bank’s strategic priorities.
  • Contribute to the communication and alignment of design system updates, ensuring consistency and clarity across global teams and stakeholders.
  • Support the CXID leadership in driving strategic initiatives, including programs in various countries, to enhance collaboration and engagement.
  • Serve as a key enabler of CXID business outcomes by ensuring timely coordination and delivery of critical activities such as monthly forums, governance meetings, and design system updates.
  • Collect and prepare Azure DevOps (ADO) and other metrics to provide actionable insights for leadership decision-making during governance forums.
  • Provide operational support for procurement processes related to CXID tooling, ensuring alignment with business objectives and cost efficiency.
  • Establish and manage effective workflows for documentation, including maintaining knowledge repositories on SharePoint, Confluence, and our intranet platforms.
  • Standardize processes for planning and executing governance meetings, engagement events, and team workshops to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Assist in tracking and reporting key performance metrics, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery to stakeholders.
  • Foster collaboration and alignment across CXID teams by organizing monthly meetings, setting agendas, and ensuring actionable follow-ups.
  • Act as a connector between teams in across various SC locations, ensuring that engagement programs and events are executed effectively and aligned with the needs of local teams.
  • Support the professional development of team members by scheduling L&D trainings and providing tools, templates, and resources to streamline their work and improve operational outcomes.
  • Support in maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation to mitigate risks associated with knowledge gaps, miscommunication, or lack of alignment.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and standards for CXID tooling, minimizing potential risks associated with vendor management or operational inefficiencies.
  • Support & execute the ADO quarterly activities to ensure that we fully conform to the standards set forth by the COOs. 
  • Identify and address risks in governance and operational processes, proactively recommending improvements to enhance reliability and transparency.
  • Coordinate and manage governance frameworks for the design system, including scheduling forums, tracking decisions, and following up on action items.
  • Ensure that governance meetings for CXID are aligned with bank-wide standards and that updates are effectively communicated to stakeholders.
  • Act as a steward of design system documentation, ensuring it reflects current governance decisions and aligns with the needs of global teams.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in any field
  • At least 3 years of relevant experiences in coordinating projects, design operations or research operations.
  • Experience in creative environment is an added advantage. 
  • Excellent in English writing and communication.
