About SCM
Supply Chain Management (SCM) is responsible for the overall commercial management of how the bank engages and spends money with its external third-party vendors. To meet increasing business and efficiency, the SCM team is looking for a candidate with strong experience in sourcing / third party risk management and the gravitas to engage stakeholders within SCB business function to support key priorities. The successful candidate will be responsible for influencing and executing sourcing and third-party risk management activities in collaboration with various SCV functions and Venture teams.
Processes / Project Management
• Use Group SCM tools and processes (e.g. Ariba, Process Unity) to manage sourcing, approvals, and onboarding activities effectively.
• Ensure sourcing and third party activities comply with Group and SCV policies and standards, applied proportionately for venture contexts.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of SCM processes to make them simpler, faster, and more scalable for ventures.
Risk Management
• Able to direct Contract Owners and ensure engagement risk assessment accuracy as it relates to the Product/Service Category through business and risk teams collaboratively.
• Coordinate and support Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) activities, including monitoring of third risk re assessments, contract
renewals, outsourcing records, and ongoing compliance requirements.
• Support ventures with end to end third party lifecycle management, including onboarding, renewals, amendments, and exits.
• Supporting Venture to manage third party lifecycle including Day 2 vendor/contract management activities i.e., ensuring risk
assessments, outsourcing registry are up to date, contract renewal executed timely etc.
Key stakeholders
• Key stakeholder interactions are Venture Business / Function Heads in Singapore
• SCM Group teams; Group Heads, Category Managers, In country sourcing & governance managers
• Cross functional teams during strategic sourcing events & third party risk management activities. This include, but not limited to, Business stakeholders, Legal, Compliance, Tax and Finance

• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

• Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures.
Skills and Experience
• Procurement / Supply Chain Tools (e.g., SAP Ariba etc.)
• Excel for tracking vendors, approvals, renewals, spend etc.
• MS O365
• Strong executor mindset with clear ownership; able to drive multiple third‑party requests end‑to‑end until the vendors are onboarded and contracts are signed.
• Good working knowledge of contracts & familiar with legal agreements
• Highly effective at coordinating and following up with requestors, approvers, Legal, Risk, Tech and suppliers to keep processes moving.
• Comfortable operating at pace, managing multiple third‑party engagements in parallel, and engaging confidently with senior stakeholders across multi‑party environments.
• Strong experience in Supply Chain Management / Procurement with hands‑on experience with sourcing, supplier selection, commercial
negotiations, and contracting, including use of Ariba other supply chain / procurement systems.
• Candidates with lighter sourcing experience but strong delivery, coordination, and stakeholder skills will also be considered -
experience in banking or financial services, including use of Ariba or similar tools, contract management, and exposure to TPRM and outsourcing requirements, would be a strong advantage.
• Good analytical and project management skills, including Excel/MS O365 and spend data analysis, would be a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications
• At least 8 years’ working experience in procurement and/or vendor management (in Technology and Corporate Services category) and project management.
• Holds at least a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Economics or Business Administration
• Fluent in English
