Job Summary

This role is accountable for the governance of the Group Asset Management processes. This role is required to support and co-ordinate a diverse set of initiatives with a multi-geography and multi-function scope to deliver on strategic priorities related to Asset Management processes, technology and product as aligned to the overall CRES strategy and governance framework.

Business & Strategy 
•    Work closely with the Head, AM Change & Transformation to define AM related strategy and performance frameworks.
•    Provide key support and strategic inputs into the evolving overall third-party supplier delivery model. 
•    Track supplier partner performance through scorecards 

Processes
•    Identify, drive and implement process improvements and efficienciesAct as a liaison & challenger for all cross functional process improvements (e.g., OCIR, Climate Risk, IFRS16 etc.) that have a direct impact on AM process. 

Systems, Data & Innovation
•    Co-ordinate with impacted parties (such as data management team) implementation of identified technology pilots for AM related systems. 
•    Support  and represent (where required) Head, AM Change & Transformation for all AM related data automations, data governance requirements. 

Key Responsibilities

Risk Management & Governance
•    Ensure all risks defined in the Asset Management CRES Universe and end-to-end processes are actively managed across the group.  
•    Work with cross functional CRES and non-CRES teams (e.g., OCIR, Climate Risk, IFRS16 etc.) to ensure risk controls are periodically assessed and working effectively. 
•    Review and implement changes to the supply partner testing approach on AM related data and risks. 
•    Co-ordinate the review and delivery of the independent governance model related to 3rd party data management team end to end processes that impacts data accuracy and other related AM risks. 
•    Drive process uplift and remediation activity based on audit/ assurance recommendation.
•    Provide oversight of the Supply Partners assurance program and ensure relevant monthly reporting of performance and findings
•    Ensure the strategic intent and agenda for operational risk is delivered within AM. Oversee the training and development within the function to ensure the AM process and the Bank risk management process is embedded in all BAU activities.
•    Act as a point of contact for all AM related internal and external audits. 
Communication & Special Projects
•    Drive communication plan for overall Asset management including upkeep of the pulse page and wider sharing of Asset Management initiatives 
•    Ad hoc support to the Group Head of Asset Management

Skills and Experience

•    Bachelor’s degree in risk management/ commerce or real estate preferred
•    MRICS preferred but not essential
•    Risk Management related certifications preferred but not essential
•    5+ years working in a real estate field or real estate related business
•    Experience in managing and working with multi- disciplinary/multi geographic teams
•    Strong communication and influencing skills
•    Agile related certifications would be preferred but not essential
•    Data oriented mindset
