Job Summary
Supply Chain Management (SCM) is responsible for the overall commercial and risk management of the Bank’s external third-party suppliers. To meet increasing business demands, SCM is looking for a candidate with strong experience in Supplier Management and the gravitas to engage stakeholders within SCB business functions to support key priorities. Successful candidate will be responsible for influencing and executing Supplier Management activities in collaboration with various business functions and related support teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Support CMS teams in accelerating the delivery of efficiencies and advancing CMS services across the Bank and all applicable categories, ensuring alignment with the Bank’s overall procurement lifecycle objectives.
• Drive initiatives to optimize value creation through effective contract management and supplier management.
• Execute regular supplier lifecycle workflow reviews.
• Understands and can interpret the commercials obligations within a contract.
• Collaborates with key stakeholders to ensure alignment of preferred channels and supplier engagement approach.
• Provide regular updates, dashboards, and reports to senior management on activities and performance, including progress updates on key initiatives.
• Monitor and improve end user experience.
• Be accountable for data quality for any information produced and maintained within the responsibilities performed under CMS. Ensure data quality is maintained to the required standards.
• Support stakeholders in managing and resolving any disputes or issues that arise during the contract lifecycle.
• Assist stakeholders in achieving their strategic objectives through careful management of relevant supplier relationships.
• Provides strategic oversight for all categories within CMS services, ensuring timely and effective resolution of stakeholder issues across the Bank.
• Represent the function when required to drive and support continuous improvement initiatives. Activities include requirements gathering, prioritization of SCM/business/function needs, adoption planning, ad hoc system testing, and collaboration with key stakeholders on initiatives related to digital transformation and enablement in line with Bank objectives.
• Identifies opportunities to align to the banks sustainability agenda and drives the actions to deliver against applicable targets.
• Support the ideation and development of technology advancements (e.g., AI, automation, tooling) to enhance and scale CMS capabilities.
• Drive adoption of category strategies and embedding sustainability as part of the CMS processes.
• Support the input of design and requirements for the platform and tools strategy for CMS.
• Play a role in driving the adoption of AI and automation, across the services suite within the capability to demonstrate efficiencies, standardisation, and digitization.
• Leverage technology and best practices to streamline workflows and improve data accuracy and accessibility.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Contract Managers/Owners and SCM stakeholders including Strategic Supplier Relationship Managers, Sourcing Teams, Legal, compliance, Finance, Business Units, and applicable suppliers.
• Understands the geo-applicable stakeholder mapping for escalation management.
• Understands the supplier engagement risk profile to ensure risks are managed by the applicable risk control groups.
• Support key stakeholders where applicable to mitigate risks associated with CMS, including financial, operational, and reputational risks.
• Support effective governance and controls for supplier risk management across the bank.
• Support the resolution of risk exceptions.
• Support regulatory driven contract changes.
• Support the development and implementation of risk management strategies to minimize potential disruptions in the supply chain.
• Ensure CMS activities comply with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Understand SCM processes, systems, policy and procedure and able to provide guidance to SCM stakeholders.
• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.

Qualifications
• Degree in business administration, supply chain management, contract law, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, and/or supplier management,and/or contract management,
• Knowledge of contract law, procurement, and supplier management best practices.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in procurement and contract management software and key technology trends
• Languages-English (must), Optional with added advantage: Thai, Vietnamese, Korean, Chinese.
