Job Summary
• Reporting to the Head, Mortgages, the position requires the incumbent to drive and support business from developers, referrals such as agent & mortgage broker, solicitors and valuers to strengthen the Mortgage Lending Franchise and achieve expected business growth & profitability.
• Review, refine, exit, develop & launch new development projects to maximize new sales and market share in chosen segments.
• Embed a high-performance culture within the Mortgage lending value stream, through robust time bound performance management of project empanelment.
• Manage the developers & referrals management end to end and drive new business opportunities
• Lead the way by eliminating non- value-added processes within the fulfilment and maintenance activities for mortgage lending business through implementation of multiple process improvement initiatives.
• To ensure full compliance with all regulatory and compliance policies and procedures to achieve satisfactory audit grades in local & Group audits.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop business opportunities through cooperation with developers and referrals network.
• Curate new initiatives to improve new sales by leverage on referrals networks
• Internal sales monitoring for BUC and campaigns if any
• Referrals management end to end
• Developer empanelment and end financing project assessments
• Strategic tied up with mortgage alliances to generate more new sales

Lead and champion WRB, as a strategic imperative and a critical enabler to business priorities achievements
Compliance and Control - Ensure appropriate Operational procedures and controls are in place to operate within the Credit and Operational Risk appetite framework to ensure compliance to Internal policies and External Regulations
• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.

• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
• Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association (or equivalent)

Our Ideal Candidate
• Minimum qualifications should be University degree or other related working experience
• Sound knowledge of the secured lending business for minimum 5 years
• Good knowledge of the selected market and customer segments would be an advantage.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes.
• Strong inter-personal skills which encourage and promotes enthusiasm and team spirit.
