Job Summary
The role of Product Manager, Managed Investments is a prime opportunity for an individual passionate about driving growth in investment funds proposition and services to maximize growth of bank’s fee-based income growth and Asset Under Management. This includes conceiving and developing investment products covering the entire spectrum of mutual funds adapted to all client segments.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy
• Building a business line that can sustainably grow income and AUM through comprehensive product proposition
Business - New product development
• Manage the end-to-end development of investment products including but not limited to mutual funds to grow fee income revenue and assets under management across segments.
• Lead product ideation or product sourcing, provider sourcing, product approval, provider approval, pricing strategy, seeking sponsorship, training to various segment including Personal, Preferred, Priority & Priority Private.
• Establish new product marketing strategy including product direction, positioning strategy, pricing, promotion.
Investment P&L management:
• Manage investment fee income revenue and related investment product activities required to meet corporate financial goals.
• Manage cost to target cost/income ratio to meet department and organizational financial goals.
Processes- Product provider management
• Conduct due diligence on new product provider and recommend to Group for approval.
• Perform periodic due diligence and maintain recorded documentation on existing partners to ensure minimum provider standards are met
Fund Services targets
• Coordinate investment seminars to increase the level of knowledge and understanding of investments Funds.
• Coordination of active product updates (internally and externally),
• Prepare and coordinate portfolio rebalancing management to best adapt to market conditions.
Product marketing & management
• Work with investment advisors to provide on-going product related support and activities to grow fee income and AUM.
• Collaborate effectively with IA Group and Local WRB management to formulate and implement local investment fund services strategy and business plans within Group and Country guidelines, to achieve Investment
Skills and Experience
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline; professional investment qualification - e.g. CFA is an advantage.
- Proven experience in investment product management, mutual funds, or wealth management within a bank or asset management firm.
- Strong understanding of mutual funds, capital markets, and investment products across client segments.
- Demonstrated experience in product development, provider management, and P&L management.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and financial skills, with the ability to manage P&L and cost/income metrics.
- Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills across Group and Country teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to train and influence front-line staff.
- Strategic and commercial mindset with a focus on revenue and AUM growth.
- High attention to detail, with robust process and documentation discipline.
