Job Summary
The Product Manager, Bancassurance plays a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction and success of bancassurance products within the bank. This position is responsible for conceptualizing and developing innovative product ideas tailored to various banking segments, while collaborating closely with insurance providers to ensure the best product propositions are secured. Leveraging deep subject matter expertise and a keen understanding of the external market landscape, the Product Manager identifies emerging opportunities and evolving customer needs, ensuring that product strategies are aligned with both the bank’s and insurance partners’ objectives.
Strategy
- Generate product ideas for various segments and negotiate with insurance providers for competitive offerings.
- Leverage market knowledge to guide product development and identify opportunities and customer needs.
- Align product strategy with both bank and insurance partner objectives.
- Support business planning for life insurance activities to meet targets and global strategies.
Business & Processes
- Define product features, pricing, and value propositions, and implement initiatives to boost efficiency and profitability.
- Apply product management throughout the lifecycle, ensuring compliant sales and smooth distribution.
- Optimize customer journey, onboarding, and operational efficiency.
- Provide accurate and timely management information.
People & Talent
- Deliver training programs and sales enablers.
Risk & Governance
- Address risk and compliance needs, adhering to group policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee product approval, governance workflows, and integrate risk controls across all processes.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
- Uphold the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct, ensuring personal responsibility for ethics and compliance.
- Collaborate to identify, escalate, and resolve risk, conduct, and compliance issues.
