Job Summary
We are looking for suitable candidate who is looking for opportunities to learn and grow their experience and knowledge in equities product related role focusing on driving business objectives and KPI through bridging the relationship between product offerings with client’s wealth needs to support client’s journey to achieve their financial goals.
About Wealth and Retail Banking
Wealth and Retail Banking (WRB) serves more than 11 million clients in many of the world’s fastest-growing markets. Our client continuum spans from Mass Retail to Affluent, including high-net worth clients served by our Private Bank. We leverage digital banking channels with a human touch to provide clients with differentiated products and services such as deposits, payments, financing, wealth management and personalised advice. We also support small business clients with their business banking needs.

Business
• Business owner in all related product platform
• Drive platform usage, client penetration efforts
• Contributing or leading in relevant projects
• Accountable for delivery of all product enhancements, project deliveries in terms of championing as business lead
• Contribute to overall Wealth management P&L through driving or participating in Wealth management key business and strategic initiatives
Processes
• Provide product advisory and communicate strategies to Frontline
• Responsible for client documentations, product related suitability processes
• Manage operations, IT and middle office resources indirectly in terms of driving changes, delivery and strategy
People & Talent
• Drive and ensure product quality assurance
• Support simplicity in all client facing product materials and risk disclosures
• Reduce (controllable) complaints
• Manage maintenance of adequate product information and ensure its accessibility by channels
• Provide product training and ensure that frontline staff are adequately trained of product features through training sessions, rallies, seminars, etc
• Manage and provide on-going information on data, analytics and competitive landscape
Risk Management
• Responsible for overseeing end to end product process through the product life cycle, including all risk management initiatives
Governance
• Owns and responsible for Country Addendum (CA) and ensure alignment to the Product Programme (PPG)
• Ensure compliance to internal and external governance standards and regulatory requirements
• Drive and lead regulatory changes
• Participate in audits, manage regulatory incidents and communications on product and drive the process, product and system changes to reduce regulatory breaches.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree or Professional Qualification, preferably in Finance/Investments/Commerce but not mandatory
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Development or Product Management in equities; ideally in Banking but not mandatory
- Good knowledge and passionate on investments or personal finance or wealth management arena
- Proven ability to work in environment requiring multi tasking
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Technical skills :
- Understanding of the asset class (Equities)
- Understanding of the product life cycle, corporate action, back- office and custodial
- Product marketing experience
- Project management experience
- Knowledge of local and global regulations
