Job Description: 

As the Asset Class Owner for Over-The-Counter Foreign Exchange (OTC-FX) and Precious Metal products at Standard Chartered's Wealth Solutions division, you will oversee these asset classes, driving revenue growth, innovation, and portfolio management while supporting Equities, Structured Products, Retail Bonds, and Wealth products.
 


Your responsibilities include deepening client penetration and collaborating with front-line business, operations, IT, and compliance teams. Your expertise will contribute to product enhancements, regulatory alignment, and market trend adaptation. This role offers a dynamic banking environment focused on innovation, client-centricity, and strategic thinking. It is office-based, full-time, and does not require people management responsibilities, allowing you to focus on product leadership and business growth.
 


Key Responsibilities
 


Strategic Leadership and Revenue Management
•    Act as the business owner for OTC FX and Precious Metals, supporting other capital markets products.
•    Drive client engagement and product adoption by liaising with front-line teams.
•    Lead or contribute to strategic projects that support business goals and enhance customer experience.
•    Ensure timely delivery of product enhancements and project implementations.
•    Contribute to Wealth Solutions profit and loss objectives through key business initiatives.
 
 
Process Management and Compliance
•    Provide expert product advisory to front-line teams and communicate product strategies effectively.
•    Manage client documentation, product suitability assessments, and compliance requirements.
•    Coordinate with operations, IT, and middle-office teams for efficient product delivery and risk mitigation.
•    Continuously enhance operational processes to optimize client servicing and product performance.
•    Qualifications

 

Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline preferred.
•    Experience in product development or management, particularly with Treasury-related products like FX, Structured Products, Retail Bonds, and Equities.
•    Strong understanding and passion for investments, personal finance, or wealth management.
•    Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.


Skills and Experience
•    Deep understanding of OTC FX and Precious Metals asset classes.
•    Knowledge of product life cycles, corporate actions, back-office processes, and custodial functions.
•    Proven experience in product marketing and customer engagement.
•    Strong project management skills for cross-departmental initiatives.
•    Familiarity with local and international regulatory requirements.
•    Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams to drive strategic objectives and enhance product offerings.
