Title: Senior Manager, License Management

Job Summary
This role is responsible to perform the software license compliance and governance activities (across desktop, server and business applications). He/She will need to well versed in license compliance in ensuring accurate and timely reporting to avoid legal and financial risks associated with non-compliance.

- Secure, rationalise and modernise our technology estate and on-demand data environment.
- Strategize architectural design to fit for the future requirements, improve stability and security, and meet regulatory requirements.
- Drive Tech Simplification and Automation.
- Improve operation efficiency and excellence.
Business
- Manage the Function’s preparedness for and response to audits, including reviewing the adequacy of management response to audit findings.
- Manage external vendor software audits from end to end and act as primary liaison point.
- Manage pro-active internal compliance reviews from end to end. Obtain usage and entitlement data to establish position, drive clean-up activities.
- Provide accurate and timely management summaries of progress to stakeholders as required.
- Own and drive transition of operational ownership of licence management activities between teams within the department, Support & drive software clean-up activities across the organisation as required.
- Serve as subject matter expert and provide leadership for license management program of works, processes, tools and collaboration across SCB.
.Processes
- Review Licensing Terms and Contractual Obligations
- Review High/Medium/Low Risk Business Application and approve High Risk request usage request.
- Prepare and Generate License Compliance Report, Dashboard, Metric with Data Analysis.
- Maintain trending dashboard and Business Application reporting.
- Responsible for producing accurate reports and metrics to facilitate business decisions and support operational activities

Key Responsibilities
Risk Management
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with non-compliance, including potential legal and financial repercussions.
• Stay updated on licensing laws and regulations to ensure organizational compliance.
Governance
• Responsibilities relating to the direction, planning, structure, frameworks (e.g., processes and policies) and oversight. For example, Responsible for assessing the effectiveness of the Group's arrangements to deliver effective governance, oversight, and controls in the business and, if necessary, oversee changes in these areas.
• Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.
Regulatory & Business Conduct

Skills and Experience
- Automation related skill set e.g. SQL Power Query, Java, SharePoint, DevOps
- Reporting Tool related skill set e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Phyton, Microsoft Excel
- Analytical Skill. Strong in complex license calculation.
- IT Asset Management, Software Asset Management, License Management and/or Supply Chain Management related skillset
- Practical experience managing a Software asset or license management program for a global firm
- Familiarity with software license management principles, license calculation methodologies, end to end software license management process, discovery tools, and Inventory management products
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Compute Science, IT or Related Field
- ITIL foundation training, CSAM, ServiceNow SAM Pro
- ITIL Foundation, Certified Software Asset Manager, Procurement/Finance Certification
- English
