Title: Senior Manager, WRB Business Finance

Job Summary
The team plays a pivotal role in supporting the Wealth Retail Banking (WRB) business across all financial functions. This includes managing monthly financial reporting, annual budgeting, forecasting. The team provides insights on performance, variance analysis, and key drivers to help management make informed decisions, By partnering closely with the business stakeholders, the team evaluates initiatives, support strategic projects. It also manages balance sheet efficiency, monitors KPIs, and delivers forward looking financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee cost management, ensuring expenses are well-tracked, controlled and aligned with budgetary targets.
- Manage financial performance of the credit card and personal loan portfolio, including monitoring revenue, margins, profitability.
- Lead preparation of monthly management reports, financial analysis, and insights to support decision making,
- Drive the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
- Partner with business stakeholders to evaluate new initiatives, product launches, and campaigns froma financial perspective.
- Provide in-depth variance analysis of actuals vs budget/ forecast, highlighting risk and opportunities.
- Support strategic initiatives, transformation projects, and productivity improvements across WRB.
- Act as a finance partner to senior leadership, delivering insights that drive sustainable growth and profitability.
- Work on transforming the analytical process to improve speed, timeliness and quality of information available within finance systems and exploring new automation tools and future analytics.
- Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which MYH operates and the regulatory requirements and expectations to the role.
Skills and Experience
- 10+ years relevant experience in finance at a leading global financial services firm, preferably banking.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking or equivalent professional qualifications, i.e. ICAEW, ACCA, CPA, CA or CIMA or MBA with strong business and financial acumen.
- Strong understanding in cost and previous experience in retail business finance, particularly on credit card and personal loan portfolio, is preferred.
- Ability to develop forward looking financials model, and impact analysis.
- Ability to design/prepare senior level financial presentations/dashboards.
- Demonstrated track record of leading and managing broad processes, while challenging the status quo and embracing the spirit of transformation.
- Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, and returns of financial products.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively manage varied stakeholders and global teams within finance and business.
- Ability to navigate complex situations and ambiguity.
