Key Responsibilities

Other Responsibilities

1.    Senior Network Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring and managing the network infra. The role can include designing system configurations, documenting and managing the installation of a new network, and maintaining and upgrading existing systems as necessary, supports BAU and projects.  
2.    Minimum 10 years practical experience in end to end management and execution of network project infrastructure deployment involving migration of application.
3.    Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks
4.    Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including load balancer, Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM), routers, switches, WLC, Clearpass, SDWAN, ACI and Firewall.
5.    Knowledge in automation scripting, implementation through automation.
6.    Knowledge in NGINX (open-source web server software) for load balancing. 
7.    Proven track record working with multinational teams.
8.    Demonstrated ability in handling complex, technical issues and providing timely solutions.
9.    Strong ability to interact, communicate, and influence vertically and laterally
10.    Ability to anticipate risks and successfully develop and drive mitigation plans
11.    Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
12.    Must be comfortable in delivering messages across a wide spectrum of individuals 
13.    Ability to navigate in complex and changing environment
14.     Proficient in Microsoft Project and Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
15.    Manage excellence in Incident / Problem / Change Management of SCB Global WAN/LAN & Security Infrastructure
16.    Manage High Critical Incident calls that involve complex multi-component, multi-platform issues together with peer Infrastructure teams like OS Platforms, Middleware, DB, and Application support 
17.    Ensure end-to-end root cause analysis and regular reporting for production issues is carried out in a way that meets business and technology requirements
18.    Support system audits when asked and ensure all holes and vulnerabilities are closed in and the sign-off.
19.    Recommend and manage relevant end-to-end service improvement initiatives to address risk mitigation and service stability. 
20.    Ensure accurate and regularly updated information related to network physical inventory, logical inventory, network diagram, network traffic flow, technical troubleshooting documents and operational process documents.
21.    Demonstrates continuous effort for identifying problematic areas and providing permanent fixes.
22.    Communicating and interacting with clients for providing expert advice.
23.    Assist in implementing Global Projects, owning the processes and documentation as required by individual Projects.
24.    Provide technical direction for systems migration and integration.
25.    Meeting and exceeding defined service level metrics on timeliness and accuracy.
26.    Work as a global team to manage the operations of multiple customers with multiple shift operations.
27.    Focus on maximizing customer experience while optimizing costs
