Job Summary
This Software Engineering position is dedicated to the development of advanced automation capabilities within Networks. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining automation solutions that streamline network operations, enhance network performance, and improve overall efficiency. This role requires a strong proficiency in programming and scripting languages and affinity with network architecture and its protocols, and technologies. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, develop innovative solutions, and ensure seamless integration with existing network infrastructure. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects and play a key role in transforming network management through automation,
Key Responsibilities
Strategy
• Ensure projects align with the broader business, economic, and market environment in which the group operate.
Business
• Ensuring that automation projects align with the overall business strategy and objectives, contributing to the Bank’s growth and success.
• Identifying an implementing automation solution that reduce operational costs and improve resource efficiency.
Processes
• Leading the end-to-end automation development process, from identifying opportunities and designing solutions to implementation and integration with existing network infrastructure.
• Developing and maintaining automation scripts and tools to monitor network performance, identify issues, and optimise network operations.
• Ensuring through documentation of all automation processes and maintaining adherence to industry standards and best practices.
• Coordinating with cross -functional teams to align automation efforts with project goals and timelines, and to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions.
• Implementing continuous improvement processes to refine automation capabilities and enhance the overall efficiency and reliability of network operations.
• Providing training and support to network engineers and others stakeholders on the use and benefits of automation tools and processes.

• Identifying potential risks related to automation projects and developing mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery..
• Act quickly and decisively when any risk and control weakness become apparent and ensure they are addressed within an appropriate timeframe and escalated through the relevant committees.

• Monitor project performance, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and business objectives.
• Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.

Our Ideal Candidates Should have:-
- Candidate should have minimum of 6+ years’ experience in Banking and Finance domain, in following technology
- Python full stack development with experience in network automation.
- Flask or Django framework
- Front-end development using bootstrap and JavaScript
- GIT, Ansible, terraform etc
- Unit testing frameworks (PyTest, Unittest)
- PostgreSQL, SQLite, MySQL - Configuration and Management
- API development and system integration (REST APIs, WebSockets, and GraphQL APIs)
- Designing Infrastructure as a Code (IAC) process, methodology and implementation
- Experience knowledge in Linux / Unix environment
- Fundamental architecture and design principles, object-orientation principles, and coding standards
- Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift - Containerize applications
- SDLC
- Agile methodology and Waterfall models
