Title: Associate Director, Country Project Management

Job Summary
• In this role you will be part of the Hong Kong Programme Delivery Team, in the department Technology and Operations (“T&O”). You will be primarily responsible for the successful delivery of projects and other technology related initiatives to improve system stability and operational resilience in the country. The role may also need you to take up management of smaller initiatives which get prioritized as per business or regulatory needs.
• You will need to work closely with various T&O teams in Country and at Group level, while maintaining a close collaboration with T&O senior management, business lines and functions, across the bank, locally and internationally.
• Main requirements for the role are a proven experience in technology project delivery, excellent relationship management and presentation skills. The role is otherwise based in Hong Kong and is eligible for flexibility in working location as per the terms agreed with the line manager.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver accurate, timely, and insightful status reports and analyses to the bank’s executives
• Collaborate closely with regional leaders, bank executives, and key project stakeholders
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and achieve the intended benefits
• Maintain clear visibility of backlog progress, identify blockers, resolve impediments, manage dependencies, and track product value metrics
• Uphold rigorous standards of quality, precision, and consistency across all projects
• Organize and lead all project ceremonies, preparing high-quality meeting materials
• Manage financial processes diligently and provide transparent, accurate financial forecasts
• Provide project status updates upon request, adhering to Group reporting standards
Qualifications
• Proven experience in the management of technology projects
• Proven relationship management skills
• Deep knowledge of banking industry, businesses and processes
• Familiar with Technology in general
• Familiar with project managements tools
• Excellent presentation skills for preparation of quality material at attention of senior management
• Recognized certification of Project Manager and/or Product Owner
