Job Responsibilities
Support the Head of Operational Resilience to manage and implement the Operational Resilience framework and program to ensure continuous delivery of critical business services within Retail Banking Business Functions including all Product functions under Retail, SME and Wealth Management, WRB Hong Kong and all channels – Voice and Virtual, Branches and Online Channels. The manager will collaborate across with the Product and Channel teams to embed operational resilience practices in line with industry standard
- Assist in implementing the Operational Resilience programme, ensuring alignment with HKMA, PRA, FCA guidelines, and other relevant standards.
- Develop and conduct analysis with suitable alternative service delivery processes for critical processes across Retail Banking.
- Develop and maintain Operational Resilience reports and dashboards for senior leadership to monitor resilience indicators and facilitate immediate remediation.
- Establish operational resilience standards across all WRB Business and Channels in collaboration with Product/Channel Heads.
- Support stakeholders in mapping and analyzing Business-Critical Services and processes within Retail Banking, identifying vulnerabilities and resilience gaps.
- Work with IT, Risk Management, Compliance, and Business units to embed resilience strategies and drive continuous improvement.
- Work closely with team members and various stakeholders to drive operational resilience in WRB.
- Identify, assess, monitor, control, and mitigate operational risks to the delivery of client services under WRB, Hong Kong.
- Support the development and implementation of Business Continuity Plans and crisis management.
- Uphold the highest standards of ethics and compliance, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and the Group Code of Conduct.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Fluent in English and Cantonese, with strong proficiency in both languages.
- Proven experience in Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, Risk Management, and Project Management, particularly within Retail Banking products.
- Solid understanding of retail banking products and services.
- Experience with Business Impact Analysis, process mapping, scenario planning, and resilience testing methodologies.
- Excellent skills in managing stakeholders, along with strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Strong capabilities in project and program management.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in operational resilience, business continuity management, or risk management are preferred.
