Job Summary

The Keystone Programme is a multi-year programme implementing ATLAS (Core Banking System), SC Pay (New Payments Platform) & Euronet (New ATM Switch) to replace current varied core banking applications in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea and Thailand.  The Keystone Programme will transform and modernise the Bank’s core system and operating model to optimise speed-to-market and value.  

 

The Business Readiness Manager (Simulation Lead) will be a 12 month fixed term contract role based in Hong Kong, and will be playing a crucial role in supporting the programme implementation activities of core banking migration to a global solution ATLAS for Hong Kong, under Business Change workstream.  
 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Overall responsible for the engagement of Business departments on Business Simulations through regular engagement sessions with Departmental change champions. Ensure proper and adequate Business Simulation Departmental Readiness checklists are prepared and to address any blockers with Business Heads and the program team.
  • Design and run desktop review task to derisk additional clean-up work post Business Simulation and prior to go-live
  • Design, manage and embed a consistent reporting framework to ensure adherence to monthly departmental readiness reports.
  • Lead regular engagement sessions with Departmental change champions to address any concerns or questions as it relates to Business Simulation Departmental Readiness checklist.
  • Work with Bank’s internal control and assurance teams to address any risks/gaps observed and as needed.
  • Ensure activities in plan align with overall cutover implementation planning
  • Participate and play a key role in Command Centre and management reporting during Dress Rehearsals/Business Simulation
  • Act as an ambassador for the Keystone Programme and Actively support to the Programme Leadership meetings
  • Support the Programme Director & Business Change Director by providing subject matter expertise, contributing to the identification of risks and resolution of impediments, issues and blockers
  • Work closely with the below teams to ensure qualitive outcomes are delivered in adherence to the overall programme schedule
    • Business readiness 
    • Cutover implementation
    • Test management, Project communications team
    • Country operations
    • Client Management teams

Skills and Experience

  • Strong Experience in Project Implementation or Business Change Management 
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to drive discussions to achieve outcomes in workshops amongst large number of teams and executives.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills to ensure stakeholders understand and agree to the approach. This will require the ability to work well as part of a team, establish and maintain effective networks and liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels and in an environment where priorities are subject to change
  • Capable of engaging key stakeholders and building alliances through active conversations including peer or more senior stakeholders who have no direct reporting relationships
  • Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills
  • Good understanding of banking functions / operations

Qualifications

  • PMP certification is beneficial
