JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Coordinator to manage and streamline the test case automation process, with a specific focus on regression testing. This role will serve as a vital bridge between our development vendors, business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and test leads responsible for designing test scenarios and test cases. The ideal candidate will facilitate effective communication, ensure alignment between stakeholders, and drive comprehensive regression testing processes for our software products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordination & Communication
Act as the primary liaison between external vendors, business SMEs, and internal testing teams.
Facilitate regular meetings and status updates to ensure all stakeholders are aligned on project timelines, priorities, and deliverables.
Communicate requirements and feedback clearly to vendors and internal teams.
Regression Testing Management
Oversee the development and execution of automated regression test cases, ensuring they align with business requirements and testing standards.
Collaborate with test leads to design comprehensive regression test scenarios that cover all functional and non-functional requirements.
Monitor the progress of regression testing initiatives and report on metrics related to test coverage, defect rates, and overall quality.
Stakeholder Engagement
Work closely with business SMEs to gather and document testing requirements and use cases specifically for regression testing.
Ensure that all regression testing activities are aligned with business objectives and deliver value to the organization.
Quality Assurance
Ensure that automated regression tests are effective, efficient, and maintainable.
Identify areas for improvement in the regression testing process and propose solutions to enhance quality and efficiency.
Conduct reviews of regression test scripts and automation frameworks to ensure best practices are followed.
Problem Solving
Proactively identify and address issues that may arise during regression testing, working with vendors and internal teams to find solutions.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving defects reported during regression testing cycles.
Documentation
Maintain comprehensive documentation of regression test cases, test results, and automation processes.
Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders summarizing regression testing outcomes and quality metrics.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in software testing and test automation, with a strong understanding of regression testing methodologies and tools.
Experience working with development vendors and managing external partnerships.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes is a plus.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies is preferred.

Qualification
Working Experience:
The candidate should have 10+ years solid experience in Business Change Management; Experience on core banking system and large programmes is an advantage.
Languages:
Business english is mandatory.
Cantonese, mandarin would be an advantage.
