Job Summar

As a Credit Analyst, Medium Enterprise in SME Banking, you’ll be responsible for collaborating with frontline sales staff including Sales Team Heads and Relationship Managers (RMs) in providing proactive account management in respect of the designated portfolio with the primary objectives of maximizing profits and returns (EP) whilst minimizing bad debts (EL management).

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Credit approvers for preparing, editing, amending, and obtaining approval of BCAs.
  • Support the entire CA Team in preparing various credit applications and reports.
  • Assist in preparing BCAs for both existing customers and NTB cases, along with necessary control and follow-up reports, including but not limited to Early Alert reports.
  • Provide high-quality credit assessments with clear justifications and thorough analysis to relevant credit units, ensuring a swift and efficient approval process.
  • Maintain proactive, regular, and timely monitoring of the credit quality within the customer portfolio, adhering to the bank’s policies and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with different bank units, including credit and risk control, to ensure timely and appropriate responses.
  • Ensure strict control over submission deadlines for all types of applications and reports.
  • Closely follow up with RMs on the submission of financial statements to enable timely credit analysis preparation.

 

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in finance, accounting, or other business-related fields.
  • Prior working experience in banks, preferably credit and marketing related areas.
  • Strong analytical, reasoning, and presentational skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work and excel in a team environment.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese(including spoken Putonghua).
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other general skills of computer application.
