JOB SUMMARY
• Drive the growth Greater China (GC) and GBA portfolio via various of initiatives of to deepen client wallet and stickiness, enhance portfolio quality.
• Work with WS team and frontline to enhance GC broad consent coverage to enable WM active and penetration.
• Drive multi-market relationship deepening with group team and cross-market counterparts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy
• Implement strategies to activate and deepen relationships with GC clients, improve portfolio quality and related process to support sustainable growth across GC Segment clients
• Implement Group strategies such as Global Chinese, GBA, etc to build a strong International Bank proposition among GC communities.
Business
• Formulate GC/GBA customer growth strategy and drive through day-to-day implementation to deliver exponential growth in portfolio and revenue.
• Drive effective portfolio management and client life-cycle management to drive quality customer growth, engagement and portfolio penetration.
• Understand market dynamics (from client to product perspective) & business dynamics of GC Segment (across acquisition, portfolio revenue/ footing/ Product Per Client, relationship outflow/ leakage, attrition, sales/service model, sales productivity, etc) to support the business model
• Optimize portfolio by Qualified & Unqualified clients’ management and mitigate outflow of clients
• Proactively engage in service & product delivery, implement high quality marketing & client communications to ensure seamless client experience
Processes
• Drive GC/GBA segment for continuous improvement in operational efficiency and effectiveness across day-to-day processes.
• Ensure effective management of operational risks across the Business and compliance with applicable internal policies, external laws and regulations.
• Ensure execution of business strategy in a safe and well controlled manner and on an end-to-end basis, incorporating infrastructure requirements and ensuring that they are fit-for-growth.
• Responsible for enhancing relevant process and closely communicating with relevant parties to comply with the regulatory and compliance requirements
Risk Management
• Ensure there are appropriate frameworks in place to guarantee that business is caried out within the Group's risk appetite and relevant risks are appropriately managed in conjunction with management, direct reports and other stakeholders.
• Ensure cross-border on-boarding and client management process are fully compliant with regulatory requirements and country engagement rules.
• Ensure compliance with the highest standards of regulatory conduct and compliance standards and practices as defined by internal and external requirements.
• Abide by the Group's values and code of conduct and foster a robust culture to ensure the adherence with the highest standards of ethics, and compliance with relevant policies, processes and regulations among employees.
• Fully aware that Risk Management matters that are brought to the job holder's attention are subject to direct remedial action and/or ensure adequate reporting to the relevant superiors and/or Risk Committees.
• Understand the risk and control environment in their area of responsibility and drive rectification as required.
• Do what is right to avoid reputational risks and operational losses.
Qualification
• Education - Degree holder
• Minimum 6-10 years of experience in Retail Bank with segment particularly GC clients or project management experience preferred
• Strong at following through project roll out and campaign from end to end
• Strong on teamwork with proactive and collaborative manner
• Ability to engage and communicate with multiple stakeholders
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills
• Languages - Proficient in Chinese (including Putonghua and Cantonese) and English
