Job Summary
As the Director of Business Transformation in SME Banking, you will lead efforts to optimize business processes, enhance operational excellence, and boost productivity. You will collaborate closely with business operational risk teams and other second line of defense (2LOD) functions to provide insights for the early detection of operational risks affecting the SME business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business transformation and process improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence and enhance productivity.
- Support the implementation of business strategies while providing risk oversight and governance to meet financial objectives, deliver exceptional customer service, and explore growth opportunities in new product areas.
- Collaborate closely with business operational risk teams and other second line of defense functions to provide insights for the early detection of operational risks affecting SME Business.
- Drive technology and innovation by leading digitization projects such as paperless banking and transitioning from manual to electronic processes.
- Develop, implement, maintain, and recommend procedures and controls that align with and strengthen acquisition and deepening programs.
- Lead by example to cultivate the right culture and values, setting clear expectations for the team and working collaboratively with risk and control partners.
- Ensure full compliance with all internal regulations and external regulatory requirements, taking responsibility for achieving and sustaining satisfactory audit ratings where applicable.
Skills and Experience
- University graduate with proven experience in corporate and commercial banking.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements related to SME banking.
- Exceptional verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.
- Customer-focused and collaborative team player.
- Committed to integrity and professionalism, with meticulous attention to detail.
