RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy
•    Support the local implementation of Operational Resilience (OR2) Regulatory Implementation Programme in alignment with the Bank’s strategic direction for HK and Rubik countries.

Business
•    Support and collaborate on key priorities and impediments of the Operational Resilience (OR2) Regulatory Implementation programme in HK and Rubik countries. 
•    Work with Country resilience manager on the local implementation in HK, Korea, China and Taiwan.  
•    Curate programme governance (approvals, submissions), communications to senior management and key stakeholders across the bank 
•    Regularly elicit feedback and share lessons learnt to incorporate best practice in a timely manner with stakeholders across businesses/functions/geographies
•    Mitigate the overall delivery risk for the Programme by working closely with stakeholders
•    Liaise with internal regulatory liaisons and auditors to provide relevant and adequate evidence as well as information where required.
•    Support reporting, communications and engagements to ensure Bank meets regulatory expectations
•    Support the delivery of training and communications
•    Support the paper work and documentation under OR-2
•    Supporting the mapping exercise for HK as the pilot market 

Processes
•    Conduct and drive the implementation of Operational Resilience (OR) in Rubik countries by aligning with the HK programme and embed the country specific elements to the local implementation. 
•    Promote the importance of Operational Resilience in each market together with the country head. 
•    Raise awareness with business and functions to embed strategy and introduce resilience by design behaviours
•    Manage external regulatory change landscape and ensure requirements are embedded in the Bank’s processes

People & Talent
•    Facilitate on-the-job learning from current & previous experience by identifying and communicating transferable lessons, helping to embed these lessons, and encouraging best practice across geographies team  
•    Be a self-starter who is able to initiate and successfully drive programmes and projects to completion with little management supervision

Risk Management
•    Drive compliance to align with the Group policies standards, and local regulatory requirements
•    Understand and assess the impact of changes in the policy or standards, related to Operational Resilience (OR2)
•    Perform proactive risk identification and monitor Operational Resilience profile. Report any non-compliance to senior management or local governance committees
•    Support the risk escalation and remediation of vulnerabilities in Rubik countries

Governance
•    Represent Operational Resilience (OR2) at related governance forums/committee where required
•    Ensure Operational Resilience (OR2) controls and metrics are reported to the appropriate risk fora to enable the effective management of Operational Resilience
•    Responsible for the delivery of governance reports as required

Qualifications
•    Education     Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Finance or Technology is preferred
•    Certifications     Business Continuity Management related certification (BCI, DRI ,etc.) is a plus
•    Languages     Fluent written and oral English, Fluent written and oral Korean is preferred.
