Job Description: 

Job Summary

This role will be responsible for driving mortgage business growth across assigned banking channels by increasing customer acquisition, supporting portfolio expansion, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. The role will partner closely with frontline sales teams, internal stakeholders, and customers to ensure efficient end-to-end mortgage processing while maintaining strong compliance and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive mortgage sales growth and portfolio expansion across assigned channels.
  • Promote mortgage solutions and increase product penetration within Priority, Business Banking, Emerging Business, and Branch networks.
  • Manage the end-to-end mortgage application process, ensuring timely onboarding and processing of cases.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, and referral sources.
  • Support customer acquisition and retention initiatives to achieve revenue and business targets.
  • Monitor application pipelines and proactively resolve processing bottlenecks to improve turnaround times.
  • Provide market and customer feedback to support product enhancement and business growth opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and operational controls.
  • Deliver a high-quality customer experience through effective communication and service excellence

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in Mortgage Sales, Consumer Banking, Retail Banking, Priority Banking, Business Banking, or Relationship Management
  • Strong understanding of mortgage and home finance products
  • Proven ability to build client relationships and drive business growth
  • Excellent stakeholder management and customer service skills
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and work effectively in a target-driven environment
  • Sound understanding of risk, compliance, and regulatory requirements within banking

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution
  • Relevant banking, sales, or financial services experience preferred
  • Professional certifications in banking, lending, or financial services will be an advantage
