• Our Information & Cyber Security (ICS) team sits within the Transformation, Technology & Operations (TTO) function and is responsible for all mission-critical and enterprise-wide areas of cybersecurity, including identity and access management, global threat intelligence, data protection, malware protection, and application and infrastructure security. These are challenges that impact our clients globally.

Key Responsibilities
• The Authorisation Security Team within the Identity and Access Management domain operates as an integrated model consisting of four independent yet interconnected capabilities that together form a closed-loop control system. Authorisation Policy Engineering is a newly established capability responsible for converting business, risk, and regulatory access intent into durable, enforceable, and machine readable identity and access control policies.
• The Lead, IAM Authorisation Transformation Enablement role sits within the ICS Identity & Access Management function and is responsible for enabling effective execution of the IAM Authorisation transformation across multiple interdependent capabilities. The role operates as an independent oversight and enablement function, providing system‑level visibility into capability health, delivery trajectory, cross‑capability dependencies and systemic risk. It exists to surface truth, detect drift, and enable timely course‑correction across the Authorisation domain.
• Identify, analyse and continuously monitor cross‑capability dependencies, sequencing risks and systemic integration points.
• Resolve systemic blockers and misalignments that span multiple IAM capabilities.
• Absorb escalations related to coordination, dependency conflicts and cross‑team friction.
• Ensure transformation activities progress coherently without forcing centralised control.
• Operate as a senior independent contributor; orchestrate analysis and insight through direct engagement rather than line authority.
• Facilitate alignment forums, dependency tracking and escalation pathways where required.
• Provide transparency on transformation progress, risks and constraints to senior stakeholders.
• Challenge and support capability leaders through evidence‑based insight, early risk detection and systemic perspective.
Strategy
• Act as the independent “early‑warning system” for the IAM Authorisation transformation, identifying drift before it manifests as delivery failure, risk exposure or audit findings.
• Enable IAM Authorisation transformation to progress as a coherent system, not isolated initiatives.
• Reduce execution drag caused by unmanaged cross‑capability dependencies.
• Protect capability leaders from coordination overload and escalation gravity.
• Support sustainable transformation pace without centralising decision‑making.
• Strengthen overall delivery effectiveness through disciplined enablement.
• Continuously reduce unnecessary complexity through disciplined design.
• Partner with the Bank Cyber Operations to design, develop and operationalise identity policy.
• Partner with the Bank Security Architects and Risk Teams to ensure alignment with Enterprise Security approach and Regulatory standards.
• Partner with the Bank Analytics and Strategy teams to translate insights into execution roadmaps.
• Continuously identify opportunities for cost optimization, increase efficiency and process simplification.
Business
• Act as a trusted partner to IAM capability leaders, delivery teams and stakeholders.
• Provide clear visibility of cross‑capability dependencies and risks.
• Enable smoother execution by addressing coordination issues early.
• Reduce delivery delays caused by unresolved inter‑team dependencies.
• Support leadership decision‑making with clear, fact‑based insights.

Skills and Experience
• 15+ years of total experience as a cyber security professional with at least 8 years demonstrated experience
• experience in establishing capabilities with strong engineering standards.
• experienced in leading complex, enterprise-wide initiatives with accountability for capability and outcomes.
• demonstrated experience in designing or governing machine‑readable authorisation policy (e.g., rbac/abac/pbac, declarative policy languages).
• familiar with enterprise directories and identity platforms such as active directory, entra and related iam technologies
• familiar with operating systems, middleware, databases, and cloud platforms (azure/aws) from identity threats perspective
• familiar with emerging technologies such as artificial intelligences, agentic ai and digital assets from identity threats perspective
